About the EP :
For our 103rd vinyl strike we’re honoured to welcome Flug to 100% Pure.
Flug, as his name suggests, allows his audience to take a trip back to their roots, back to their
inner self and what it is to really feel techno. The Argentinian´s definition of techno has been
clearly demonstrated not only through his DJ sets in clubs and festivals all around the globe
that are as devastating as they are uplifting with his serious kick drums, use of hi-hats and
reverberating bass lines, but also through driving his own organically produced techno forward
through his releases and remixes. His music is now recognized and played worldwide due to his
unrivalled and brutal self-discipline in the studio, his humbleness in approach, his fierce passion
and overall dedication.
For 100% Pure, Flug has produced I Like Stress EP comprising 2 remixes by label head 2000
and One and artistic duo Atoll.

Kerri 'Kaoz' Chandler - Fire

Dutch duo Abstract Division (aka Paul Boex and Dave Miller) present ‘Aftermath EP’, a four track package due *release date* on the eponymous imprint from Milan based collective Just This. Featured in the release are remixes from Peter Van Hoesen and VRIL. 
Title track is a subtle dancefloor killer with funky cyclic rhythms and peculiar harmonies, followed by ‘Isolated’, a subdued yet dizzying dose of syncopated drums and crystalline melodic inflections. 
For his interpretation of ‘Isolated’, VRIL mutates the stripped back hypnotism of the original into a maximal, angular workout, whilst Peter Van Hoesen focuses on the dizzying loops of the original, repurposing them into an immersive spiral of funk driven techno. 
‘Aftermath EP’ fuses elements of ambient and soulful techno for an understated but powerful package.

Abstract Division - Aftermath

CHO AND THE RANDOM IMPETUS is a New York based multi piece band. Collaborating with local musicians and recording with analog equipment, CHO AND THE RANDOM IMPETUS utilizes jazz, funk, soul and disco melodies to create rich 1970s esque sounds.

The debut single from New York based CHO AND RANDOM IMPETUS. The A-side is reminiscent of 70's disco with its percussion, conga, and bass combinations. The flip "CANDELIGHT" is a modern funk groover with its strong horn harmonies and funky male vocals.
