We have curated a line up of artists that were hand picked by the HP team to whip up some absolutely disgusting bass lines, body jerking drum kits, and mind splitting synthesizers that all together create the exact vibe that we embodied when we started Hood Politics.

This release is an ode to the party starters, the after hour champions, and everyone who has ever been considered a luxurious snack on the dance floor.

elrow Music has just passed the 150 releases barrier and that's something just happens once, so this 152st release is big. Very big! For this new release in our back catalogue we have summoned no other than Hector Couto, Roush Label's boss, and one of the heads of the industry. And you know big things come in pairs, so as high rolling remix we have Andrea Oliva's take on one of Hector's originals.

Getting to the matter, 'Seduction (Original Mix)' is the name of the main track, a straight tech house affair with strong character, thanks to the vocal line and the masterful use of the FX. A true dancefloor bomb.

Then we have Andrea Oliva's remix of the same track, in which the Swiss producer turns 'Seduction' into a more darker track with a minimalistic twist, keeping the great set of FX and giving them a mysterious twist that makes this track a true banger.

To close the EP, we have Hector Couto ft. Tea Time's 'That Thing (Original Mix)', which is a more playful and bright track, with the icing of the cake in form of the Portuguese vocals that appear in key moments of the track, giving it a distinct and unique character.

A leading DJ, producer, A&R and label boss, Josh Butler is an artist forever in evolution. June sees a welcome return to Rejected as he delivers his fourth EP on the label, entitled 'Back'.

'This EP was one of the last I finished at my studio before moving my equipment home for the lockdown. The A-side is a peak-time tool with African inspired rhythm and percussion, whilst I'd heard the word Baobab on a documentary for the B-side. It's a unique looking tree commonly found in Africa and, I'd always loved the look of them so I had to use it for a track title. The track to me sounds quite natural and almost wooden so it felt fitting'. - Josh Butler

Title cut 'Back' opens the package and quickly enters into a snaking, hypnotic journey through delayed vocal interjections, resonant dubby stabs and sweeping synths, whilst the paired back 'Baobab' harnesses refined organic percussion hits beneath blossoming lead melodies, punchy low-end hits and further tripped-out vocal work to shape up yet another notable outing on Rejected from one of the UK's leading house music talents.
