The brothers, who spent their first years in Erzincan, lived in the village of Dersim in summer and in Erzincan in winter. This gave them the opportunity to experience two distinct cultures. Therefore, they considered Turkish spoken in Erzincan and Zazaki spoken in Dersim as their own language. They completed their primary, secondary and secondary education in Erzincan. 
Kemal Kahraman joined the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Istanbul University in 1983. However, he left this school in 1984 and began studying philosophy at METU in Ankara. 
Metin Kahraman joined the Radio and Television Department of the Marmara University School of Press in 1984. In 1985, he founded GRUP INTERPRETATION with some friends from this school. 

In the same years, he participated in various amateur music groups in Kemal, Ankara. 

Gathered in 1991, the brothers launched their first album in 1993, "Deniz Koydum Adı";, the product of their two years of work.

Attrapant au passage (et au violon) Arnaud Samuel, et après de nombreuses scènes, sort en 1997, Louise attaque, le premier disque des quatre garçons, vendu à plus de 400 000 exemplaires, et les plus surpris ne sont pas toujours ceux que l’on croit, les espérances de Louise Attaque sont dépassées.

Loin des grosses machines de promotion des " Majors", les Louise Attaque se sont fait leur place dans la case Rock, consonance Pop acoustique avec en bagage la musique de Passion Fodder, Noir Désir et la Mano Negra.

Si Gaëtan Roussel prétend que le nom choisi pour le groupe est destiné à assumer un peu de la féminité que la plupart des groupes de Rock refuse, il s'agit en réalité, d'un clin d'œil au groupe américain qui a influencé le quatuor : Violent Femmes.

Après le premier album et ses quelques perles (J’t’emmène au vent, Ton invitation, Léa), classé 5éme meilleure vente d'album en France, Louise Attaque sort en 2000 un deuxième album : Comme on a dit.
Un an après le groupe se sépare pour un temps. Gaëtan Roussel et le violoniste Arnaud Samuel créent le groupe Tarmac.

En septembre 2005, un troisième album de Louise Attaque sort : A plus tard crocodile.

Adepte des grandes respirations dans la carrière du groupe, les membres de Louis Attaque décident de se consacrer à d'autres projets.

Gaëtan Roussel travaille avec Bashung sur Bleu Pétrole, enregistre avec Rachid Taha, et sort un premier album solo : Ginger. En 2017 il crée Lady Sir avec Rachida Brakni et sort l'abum Accidentally Yours.

Robin Feix forme le groupe Poney Express avec Anna Berthe.

Far from the big promotion machines of the "Majors";, the Louise Attaque have made their place in the Rock box, an acoustic Pop sound with the music of Passion Fodder, Noir Désir and Mano Negra in their baggage. 

If Gaëtan Roussel claims that the name chosen for the band is intended to assume a little of the femininity that most Rock bands refuse, it is actually a nod to the American band that influenced the quartet: Violent Femmes. 

After the first album and its few pearls (J't'emmène au vent, Ton invitation, Léa), ranked 5th best selling album in France, Louise Attaque released a second album in 2000: As we said. 
A year later the group split up for a while. Gaëtan Roussel and violinist Arnaud Samuel create the group Tarmac.

A fan of the great breaths in the group's career, the members of Louis Attaque decided to devote themselves to other projects.
