The sorceress has returned. Dat Garcia presents “Todo es Conectividad”, the first single from her third album Las Fuerzas Almadas, to be released by ZZK Records in April 2022.

With a contagious and minimalist beat, the song gently immerses the listener in a dark and luminous terrain to the rhythm of synthesizers, deep voices softening the journey. The hypnotic melody opens our eyes and transports us to the charm and creative power of the collective, calling out to the ancestral beginnings of connection. 

Poetry of the body and magical realism; humanity is blinded, a passive observer of a dystopian future. A call to reconnect with community, with nature and with the human creative potential that lets us reinvent ourselves.

Dat says "Todo es Conectividad" (“Everything is connectivity”) is a subliminal spell to awaken minds from the dance, letting frustrations fly and reviving the metaphor of the other. Garcia takes over the listener's senses, positioning herself as one of the most innovative musicians of the moment.

Out of the primordial chaos of pandemic and two years since their last full-length outing SUPERSAN, those sassy purveyors of World Dance of the highest calibre return with a bang. Duo’s 3rd studio album soon to be released by Boom Selectah Records promises to turn heads and perk ears of the aficionados of Afro House but also has a potential to spill out from the niche and conquer the hearts of wider audiences.
The album titled ‘Little Dakar’ is’ the labour of love of two long time collaborators from Greece, Kostas and Valantis. This time their quest for musical purity and honesty is enriched and enhanced by stirring alliances. Scattered inside the audio-tapestry of this exotic wax flower you will find the vocals from ‘the voice of Senegal’ Jefree, and enchanting strumming from the fret of George Koltsiou. While rich traditions of Senegali music are particularly evident (and reflected in the album title), ‘Little Dakar’ goes far and beyond the sounds of a steamy Dakar Disco dancefloor. Finely tuned ear is in for a treat and could easily travel the distances between Senegal, Angola, Ghana, Uganda and Mali to name but a few. But you don’t have to be an expert to fall in love with this album. The multidimensional colours of African musical heritage are easily accessible to a novice too as the references to better known House and Funk traditions could be heard loud and clear throughout the record.
What makes ‘Little Dakar’ stand out as a clear winner is the up-tempo, dancefloor-oriented approach that SUPERSAN chose to pursue on their third studio album. With ease and panache, the duo throws our way some insane musical chops, while keeping the mood Sunny and vocal hooks joyful. The spectre of moods with which SUPERSAN bombard us is impressive but be it the epic retro-tinged drive of ‘Diem Rek’ or somewhat more sombre, afro-gothic yet seductive push of ‘BLZ’, the hooks of the ‘Little Dakar’ are unmistakably sharp and are sure to act as a call to arms on any discerning dancefloor.

This disturbing mantrap of powerful rhythms combines power and flow with lyrics that reflect on infinite human possibilities. Light and darkness are understood as parts of the same entity, hinting at the line, Choice, that separates them.

This is an animal manifesto. We can’t exist without leaving footprints. Human beings are capable of creating and destroying: the weapon is in our hands, we only have to choose how we use it. The key lies in taking responsibility for our own abilities and their consequences. Trash and feeling. 

With the collaboration of Kyosaku on bass and a special guest in the production, science and spirit blend together to create a delicious balance: the libidinal bases that direct human behavior. What makes people believe that they’re above all living beings?

The culture of human supremacy refuses to be brought down to the status of edible flesh and so they wrap their bodies in hard coffins and burial shrouds to hold back the predators. The terror of being eaten leads us to remove ourselves from the biotic community, dodging the sense of cohabitation among living beings in a shared territory. Humans leave behind natural cycles to become the greatest predators in the history of the planet. 

Dat García comes in strong, introducing a tide of strange voices that gently rock us until we come to an ear-splitting, provocative beat, just as in the video that accompanies the single, where the explicit burns and the hunter is mixed up with the prey.

When the album Elementum Naturae was finished and released, Alahez, Seed Selector, and Zeque had the idea of joining forces with Ohxalá Records and making a remix album, in which we invited some great national artists to participate (Mezomo - El Peche - Xuqutopi - Seed Selector - Goyanu - Alahez - Forest Lounge - Cris D. - Dallanoras - Rik.a) who had sound proposals that spoke to the original album in order to, through art, do what we could to help Brazilian indigenous people, guardians of the forests, to continue resisting and preserving the very rich nature of Brazil.

Zeque's album has a really strong energy coming from the songs and vibrational and indigenous instruments that bring a strong connection with nature.

Therefore, the remix album will have 95% of its sales and earnings from streaming destined directly to Aldeia Renascer located in Ubatuba.

The village takes its name because it was reborn from the destruction of its nature through reforestation and agroforestry work within the indigenous land.

The choice of the village for the destination of resources has the purpose of not only strengthening the work of reforestation and protection of the (very rich) local fauna and flora but also to protect a part of the Atlantic Forest, the most threatened biome in Brazil with only 12% of the Its preserved forests are part of the fact that the biome is home to more than 70% of the Brazilian population that depends on the protection of the biome for water, a stable climate, and food.

We and the Guarani people of Aldeia Renascer thank each of you who buy and listen to these songs for supporting this movement for nature, life, and the planet!

SUPERSAN is a world electronic concept, a fusion of dancefloor oriented - future beats and earthly exotic rhythms originated from Athens.
Kostas aka Panama Cardoon and Valantis aka Mister Kentro have worked in parallel on their own projects (Bonfido Disques, Balkan Riddims) for many years and have made their imprint distinctive in the greek nightlife. In 2015 they teamed up to create the genre bending projects/albums "Half Man Half Clap" and "Enter The San" and ever since they performed in festivals and venues in Europe, Africa and Asia, had their music featured in documentaries and their tracks supported by BBC Radio among other stations worldwide. They have released 3 full length LPs, one remixed album, multiple singles and worked together or remixed music for Cut Chemist, Chinese Man Records, Captain Planet, Baja Frequencia, Maga Bo, Boogat, MC Zulu, to name a few.
In 2021 SUPERSAN released their latest album "Little Dakar'' with strong influences from the dancing side of the African Continent. Spearheaded by MC Jefree from Senegal, the futuristic aura of the Sub-Saharan diaspora is strongly prominent, combining cosmic synthesizers and heavy beats over fast tempos.
