Hot on the heels of his official remix for Nico Morano’s ‘100 Miles’ at the end of January, Berlin-based producer Re.You continues his abundant run of studio output with the announcement of his brand new single ‘Lose Myself’. Teaming up with renowned Moroccan producers NDRK and Yacine Dessouki – frequent collaborators who recently released their ‘Move’ EP on Re.You’s LSF21+ imprint – the single marks the debut co-production between all three artists and drops alongside an delectable remix from Tel-Aviv based producer Sean Doron. 
 
Released on Luca Saporito’s Ibiza-based label, Super Sapiens, ‘Lose Myself’ is a delightfully judged Afro House cut with the sort of slow-burning groove that we’ve come to know and love from all three producers’ catalogue of productions. Created with a definitive sense of the journey in mind, tribal percussion, reflective breaks, trippy vocals and epic apex moments converge in perfect accord, as Re.You, NDRK and Yacine transport listeners into their own distinct realm of unadulterated sonic bliss.

Super Sapiens, the new label venture from Luca Saporito (Audiofly) preps a bumper package for its latest release.  The trio of Nick Warren, Landikhan and IV-IN deliver an arresting single on their collaborative track ‘In The Dark’.  A strong cast of remixers are lined up, with reworkings courtesy of Gorje Hewek, Kadosh & label boss Luca Saporito.

Drawing upon deliciously dark 80’s new wave influences, ‘In The Dark’ is a progressive dance track expertly crafted by scene stalwarts Nick Warren, Landikhan and IV-IN (who also provides the prime vocal performance).  Deep and driving, seductive and sophisticated, this unique track straddles the deep house and indietronica genres with ease.

With Gorje Hewek, Kadosh and Luca Saporito on remix duties, each working their own unique take on the original, the ‘In The Dark’ release offers plenty of vibes for those with discerning tastes!

Luca Saporito & Susa Nnorth’s rising label collective Super Sapiens presents the ‘Dirty Funk’ EP; a radiant, triple-paced project from the masterful Sam Farsio, and rounded off with a dialled-in Yost Koen Rework.

‘Dirty Funk’ provides an intricate sonic spectacle, taking a journey through the chugging signature grooves of Sam Farsio’s signature style, coming equipped with intimate rhythms alongside glittery synthwork. Sam’s releases for labels such as Frau Blau, Nazca and Surrealism have highly impressed, and so his arrival onto Super Sapiens is most welcome.

Yost Koen (Diynamic/AREA51) lays down a dreamy spin on title track ‘Dirty Funk’, lighting the record with shimmering arps, layered with timeless melodic elements.

Luca Saporito & Susa Nnorth’s new imprint Super Sapiens release a new single from Moroccan DJ and music producer Mr. ID featuring datpalmtree.  ‘Dark Side’ is a pulsating and melodic anthem and comes accompanied with a remix from Sewan Ghak.

Mr. ID is known for blending traditional North African sounds with modern electronic beats. With a unique style that merges Gnawa music and deep house, Mr. ID has gained international recognition via releases on labels such as CATELE RECORDINGS, Frooogs Records and Elbaraka Family, to name a few.

‘Dark Side’ combines cutting-edge electronic syncopations with unexpected rhythms, creating a distinctive and captivating sound. Mr. ID and datpalmtree deliver a deep and chugging dancefloor filler that’s reenforced by Sewan Ghak’s mesmerising take.

Super Sapiens lines up a fierce three-piece package titled ‘I Know U Know Too’ courtesy of Komilev, alongside a stellar remix from Musumeci.

Ukraine-born Komilev, who now operates and resides in Spain, has graced established collectives including the likes of Watergate Records, Disco Halal, Frau Blau & Discotexas to name a few, emitting a bold and creative sound that has gained a growing respect across the electronic music scene.

‘I Know U Know Too’ sees Komilev unleash an intense, emotive brace of compositions, backed with unyielding club force and groove.  

Sicilian DJ & Producer Musumeci follows suit, supplying a glistening remix of title track ‘I Know U Know Too’, styled with timeless synthwork atop vocal reworkings.

SuperSapiens is a brand new label from acclaimed underground stalwart Luca Saporito, aka one-half of AudioFly. He remixes the first release, which comes from Xinobi.
 
SuperSapiens is an already-established event series that hosted this summer at Akasha in Ibiza, as well as further afield across Europe, North Africa and the US. The label serves as a platform to uplift new talents and release co-productions with Santiago Garcia, Amine K and many more. Each one will find Luca, who has released on plenty of the best labels in the world while playing at every major club and festival with AudioFly, redefining his solo sound. 

Behind the first single is Xinobi, aka Portuguese artist Bruno Cardoso. He is the Discotexas imprint co-founder with plenty of great tracks to his name there and other vital labels. 

His beautiful 'Sugar Code' is a spine-tingling deep house cut with twinkling synths arcing high above the melancholic chords. Their bittersweet feelings captivate the heart as distant pads add further cosmic depth. It's an artfully realised track that makes an indelible mark. 

Luca Saporito's remix layers in hypnotic hits and wispy chords for a different sort of enchantment. The drums hit a little more upright and will carry the dance floor away to the stars.
