Big artist....but you RE-WRITE the original lyrics of the song in its ENTIRETY...Until the the ESSENCE of the song is COMPLETELY GONE....You refer to the dub as CHERRY OH BABY but at no time in the dubplate did Eric Donaldson sang the CHERRY OH BABY chorus of the song....The art of cutting a dubplate of a popular song...is to RE-WRITE the lyrics where you maintained a balance between the ORIGINAL SONG and the DUB....making sure you retain the essence of the original.  That's just my opinion...Bless up
