PIV050 puts newcomers Retrouve in the limelight with a fiery debut EP on both vinyl and digital. The Hungarian duo are the definition of raw talent found within the label's own territory. "Doubt" sets the tone with a solid multiple layered groove, while "Parnell Street" has a joyful variety of bright funky uptempo instruments. On the flipside "Dr. Soul" takes it back deeply with a range of dynamic vocal chops and chords, before "Found" closes the package on a high note for peaktime selection.

DOOZIE RECORDS follows the success of their debut release with a very first premium VA, FLAVERS (DR002) featuring a select crop of international talent. The aptly named FLAVERS builds on the work of the first EP, showcasing more of the label's staple house and garage sound.

OZZIE GUVEN cuts the ribbon with tough rolling beats and driving bass, deftly packaged with expert vocal. Label boss PARKER follows with precision, incorporating rhythmic percussion and edgy enticing vocal, adding depth to a track that makes for peak-time bomb. WILL REGAN picks out the drums, served with a tasty breakdown, heads-down hands-ups chord structure and beautiful counterpoint. KREATURE on the breaks and choppy 909s; sounds of old school surge in this forward-thinking piece. Then it's SUCASA with some lovely filter work, teasing a playful, mischievous number, where sharp keys and snare do the damage. NILE SINCLAIR closes the package with big organ drives, faithful fx and masterful pace change throughout.

Presenting MEET U out on the 18th of October via their own SUPER UPHORIC imprint, fast-rising UK-based duo S.U.R.E. offer a chunky house groover harkening back to the 90s acid house era.
Born as a conceptual celebration of the 90s rave era, S.U.R.E. continues to explore various pockets of this scene through a reinvigorated modern lens, weaving old school sounds and
samples with sharp production and threading together a signature sound throughout a range of classic genres that gave birth to a bygone scene decades before.
This time the duo heads in a club-ready 4x4 house direction, with proggy elements syncing atop an acid-led bassline and pitched vocals, underpinned by classic chopped breaks – an ever present signature of the S.U.R.E. aesthetic.
MEET U is an instant groover, with the hook-y vocals “Dance, Dance, let’s get down / I’ll meet you at the underground” leading an undeniable groove and a low end optimized for festival- and
club- system alike. Already road-tested by the duo throughout their summer gigs, it’s a tune that has proven to deliver on a variety of dance floors without fail.
