Sfora DJ Comp Mix

Berlin's community radio station THF Radio invited Leipzig's @callshopradio to come down from the airwaves for "Switching Frequencies". Here's the recording of @djunisex set.

DJ Unisex is an interdisciplinary DJ, Producer, Radio-Host and Label-Chief based in Leipzig (Germany). In the past years he had gigs for example at: Terminal Club (Mexico City), About Blank (Berlin), Le Bourg (Lausanne), Operator (Rotterdam). In 2019 he started his residency on Callshop Radio called Intergalactic Rhythms. Since 2020 he is co-running the record label Self Learning System.

As a co-founder of the ZENA collective, part of the Fluid Festival and a Callshop Radio resident she's putting her efforts into creating safer spaces, conversations and networking opportunities for FLINTA* artists through community building. With gigs both in germany and internationally, as well as countless guest appearances for radios like NTS and Refuge Worldwide it shouldn't be a secret that she's one to look out for, which this episode of The Hustle proves one more time! I took the opportunity to mix the more tranquil tracks of my selection. I like tracks that sweep you away with spherical melodies while bass and broken rhythms keep you grounded. My tendency to epic mood changes is showing up here.

Gora & Eloy @ Bass Resurrection

As a musician with a background in experimental music and a former jazz drummer, Itaho started on the rave scene and in underground circles.
Sensitive to the “plasticity” of sound, she offers a vast but always percussive musical universe. Now a member of the Bienvenue au Club collective, she collaborates with a number of platforms, including the “Tu mixes bien... pour une fille” (You mix well... for a girl), a campaign to raise the profile of women in electronic music.

based in Freiburg, he is well known in Freiburg for many years now. In the early beginnings, he organized partys at the old venue of "ArTik Freiburg". The aim of this kind of events was to push Bass focused music into the local scene in Freiburg. After a while, he got bored of it and started to DJ and produce under the name "Frederick Block," with which he released a distorted techno vinyl on RAS Records in 2016 and played in many venues all over Germany. Since 2018 he´s booker at "Bar am Funkeneck" and now he's finally back with his new name "DJ Aufregen". He found his love for Bass focused music again and likes to play everything from Breakbeat, UK Bass, Garage, Prog House and more. This genre blending mixing is exciting for him, and you can get a taste of his wonderful selection with his SYLPCAST!
