Next up in the series we have Antwerp local Supreems. His productions have been circling the globe for a few years now, receiving support from some big players in the scene like Bicep, Four Tet, Ross From Friends and Solomun, just to name a few. His releases have allowed him to zig-zag across Europe and play in some of its finest clubs, with Berghain Panoramabar as cherry on the cake. To say that we are delighted to have him contribute to our series is an understatement. 

Contrary to his productions, Supreems’ DJ-sets are a bit more eclectic, heavily influenced by the UK-scene in all its beauty and complexity. The man weaves together different genres and emotions seamlessly, leaving you wanting more, even after the 2h30 mix he made for us. South Florida's very own J. Albert and Person of Interest come together for Exotic Dance Records on this four-track 12" of certified heat! A1 cuts to the chase with the soul-inflected number "Thank You for Believing in Me": a slapping house beat carries a soaring vocal refrain through rattling percussion and fretless bass. A2 shifts into sexier territory, as an enticing brass motif dances on top of titillating pulses, punchy breakbeats and an authoritative bounce. On the flipside, Person of Interest's homegrown "Pompano Acid" trades melodious acid with sun-soaked oscillating piano stabs on top of a shuffled boom-bap garage rhythm. B2 track "Still" made an appearance in last year's Bronze/Palace Paramount video and here provides a nice finisher to Exotic Dance's inaugural 12".
