In geometry, an octahedron is a polyhedron with eight faces, twelve edges, and six vertices. The term is most commonly used to refer to the regular octahedron, a Platonic solid composed of eight equilateral triangles, four of which meet at each vertex. A Platonic solid is a convex regular polyhedron in three-dimensional Euclidean space. Being a regular polyhedron means that the faces are congruent (identical in shape and size) regular polygons (all angles congruent and all edges congruent), and the same number of faces meet at each vertex. The Platonic solids have been known since antiquity. It has been suggested that certain carved stone balls created by the late Neolithic people of Scotland represent these shapes. Other evidence suggests that he may have only been familiar with the tetrahedron, cube, and dodecahedron and that the discovery of the octahedron and icosahedron belong to Theaetetus, a contemporary of Plato. In any case, Theaetetus gave a mathematical description of all five and may have been responsible for the first known proof that no other convex regular polyhedra exist. M.Age.Project is giving knowledge and good vibes through music. This is his second offering for Shango Records. These two tracks can teach you the mysteries of geometry. Into Your Tribe (Remaster 2023) is a deeply enchanting tune with mid tempo rolling drums, raw guitar licks and tropical percussion under the soulful vocal. After a more chunky club mix comes a spine-tingling deep house rework by Bedouin complete with mystic synth leads and then a Nhii Remix offers something more textural and late night with cosmic synths bringing the tension. The Tebra Remix is another loose limbed and deeper workout with an organic feel and steamy atmosphere. Into Your Tribe (Just Emma Sunset Remix) has a lumpy rhythm that rises and falls under the gorgeous original vocal, Into Your Tribe (Hicky & Kalo Remix) then takes things into the cosmos with more heavenly sounding vocals and a rich array of lush synths, and a final Alternative mix brings some sleazy guitar riffs and a chanting vocal.

Hypnotic sounds, melodic journeys around the world and dark but bouncy harmonies are the connecting elements in the musical proposal of Peruvian musician Marco Tegui. In 2009 his electronic music career started, creating a big impact in the South American scene. Later on in 2014, Marco’s sounds arrived to Europe and he established his residency in Berlin. Playing in the best clubs of the city and releasing tracks in the most emblematic labels, Marco had become a part of the international underground Techno scene.

David Devanagari, a musician and producer from Barcelona, is one of the most well-known up-and-coming performers in the downtempo and organic house genres. His Live Performances blend traditional instruments like the Indian Sitar and HandPan with synths and organic
vibes showing is passion for eclectic and traditional sounds.

The silver moon cast a frosted glow upon on the rough stone wall and guardian lion statues. Dragon stared at them as he approached the gate. Their stocky, heavily built bodies seemed to weigh down the stone platforms they sat upon; and the darkness of the night made their stiff curly manes look like rows of carved blossoms. One lion held a round ball underneath his forearm; the other held down a lion cub that seemed to be grinning at him. In fact, all the lions seemed to be grinning at him as if he were a secret joke they were watching. “Am I so funny?” Dragon asked them as he passed. “YES!” burst out the small lion cub, wriggling free of his mother’s paw. “You’re very funny!” As Dragon jumped back in surprise, the lion cub laughed out loud, obviously highly amused at the dragon’s shock. But with his laugh, both adult lions shook themselves from their platforms. “Xiao Mao!” the mother lion scolded. “Don’t laugh at the lost dragon. Besides, you know the rules. No moving in the presence of others.”. Cox delivers sounds of beauty and grace. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These three tracks can take you on a journey where the mountains meet. Shan Nash and Bohem are chasing lions in the temple of Gods.
