The oriental musical imprint, projected through both the melodies and the vocals, enforces the order from chaos to immerse the eardrum into savoring ‘Mirage’, ‘Allegory’ and ‘Circle Of Life’; the three departments composing this collaborative Extended Play.

Loss of control. Shimmering lights, smelly buildings'corners, a heavy throb in your head. Time doesn’t pass, doesn’t stop, is meaningless. Your whole body is off-line, your mind blown away. But that doesn’t matter because it brings you further and you set the direction. Marc DePulse’s second longplayer “Kontrollverlust“ will be out in November. Loosing yourself in music, in trance - on purpose or because life takes it’s way - that’s what it’s about. While “Uranus51“ is mystical and spheric, a straight way into nowhere, the second track “Her Fragrance“ already catches you with dark, dirty bass lines and pulsating beats. Xenia Beliayeva’s vocals on the title track „Kontrollverlust“ are telling a story about love and sorrow at the same time. Visions, fantasy, the whole longplayer is full of emotions. 

“Hats Off“ starts with a bleeping and continues softly and peacefully. A perfect club tune followed by “Sienka“ with this little extra of funk. So now “Better Be Nice“ while dark basses are crashing in and techno tunes make their way. After “Tailwind“ and “Radio Star“ you remember that darkness gets always replaced by sunlight. Make your peace and get “Back To Bed“ till you recovered and under control. Finally „Prince Charming“ guids you to a beautiful place outside. A deep breath and you’re ready to go back where you started.

Having recently produced and released new material, @key-be decided that it was about time to record a new live set. “This way I’d like to share my music and enable listeners to discover my musical universe”, says the young musician. He recorded the set in his atelier in Paris - in a basement: “I spend a lot of time there because the quietness and solitude help me express my ideas musically while going deeper into the topic.” It is vitally important for him to tell a story through his sets. “It is not only about the tracks but rather some kind of contemplation throughout the whole mix, the feelings involved, cultural inspiration and a bit of my personality”, says Keybe. “The Nomad Soul” is the result of several months full of work and learning. Seine neuen Produktionen – sie waren die Inspiration, dass @key-be ein neues Liveset aufnahm. „Ich will so meine Musik teilen und sie soll entdeckt werden“, erklärt der junge Musiker, „und so können alle in mein musikalisches Universum eintauchen.“ Als er dieses Set aufzeichnete, war er in seinem Atelier im Herzen von Paris – und zwar in einem unterirdischen Keller: „Ich bringe viel Zeit an diesem Ort, weil ich es in der Stille und der Einsamkeit schaffe, meine Ideen musikalisch auszudrücken und tiefer in die Materie vorzudringen.“ Das Wichtigste ist für ihn, dass die Zusammenstellung eine Geschichte erzählt. „Es geht nicht nur um die Tracks, sondern auch um eine Reflexion im gesamten Set, das Gefühle, kulturelle Inspirationen und ein wenig von meiner Persönlichkeit vermischt“, so Keybe. „The Nomad Soul“ ist die Frucht mehrerer Arbeitsmonate, die mehrere Phasen des Lernens von Keybe zusammenfassen.
