PREMIERE: Cocho — Wake Up Call (Original Mix) [Izhy & Tribe]

@JavierPortilla and @Sotela team up with vocalist, Emalaine, on ‘Your Eyes’ which features a massive @HernanCattaneo and @Lonya remix.   

Originally released back in January 2015, ‘Your Eyes’ brought together the talents of Javier, Rolando and Emalaine to huge effect, licensing the track to Armada Music for King Unique’s ‘Beyond Borders mix compilation just a month later - coincidentally, KU was one of the original remixers as well. Fast forward 6 years, and two of the leading pioneers of progressive house add their substantial studioskill to create undoubtedly one of this year’s high points.   

Hernan Cattaneo and Lonya interpretation (or remix), opening with liquid cool drums, ‘Your Eyes’ ignites the senses from the off. Keyed sonics add character before delicate bass, orchestral pads and ethereal ad libs take it to the next level. Building throughout, the first break serves only as a brief rest before new melodic ideas emerge and the track takes on a tougher feel. Emalaine’s vocal is treated sparingly giving a far off melancholy air before the final break where it’s let loose for full emotional effect. Sonic mastery, and a secret weapon for many months to come.

We are pleased to present you our new track from Orange & Indigo. 

The 212th release on Madloch's 3rd Avenue imprint welcomes Orange and Indigo (formerly know as Khetouin) back to the label. The original was released last year on Sound Avenue's "Correlation Vol.2". Nico Szabo, La Vue and amháin got invited to do a remix.

Orange & Indigo is an Australian-based Producer, DJ and musical storyteller. His style stems from a passionate advocacy of musical flavours both deep and uplifting, and his musical expressions provide an enchanting glimpse into the ever changing world of melodic house music. 2019 was a breakout year for the Australian, seeing a string of successful releases and remixes on deep/progressive house labels Sound Avenue and 3rd Avenue under his previous alias Khetouin. The Orange & Indigo project began at the beginning of 2020 with a number of strong releases on Sound Avenue, The Purr and Stellar Fountain, and has garnered support from artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Emi Galvan, GMJ and Jelly for the Babies.

Ewan Rill & K Loveski are no strangers to The Soundgarden. After their star turn on the label’s Winter Collection in 2019 and an appearance on Nick Warren’s acclaimed Balance compilation, the dynamic duo make their full debut on The Soundgarden with their swaggering three-track EP, ‘Made in Goa’.

The title track serves as the opener, bringing with it a deceptively catchy refrain and a veritable melee of sharp kicks and cracking snares. It’s an up-tempo offering from the pair and one that sets the mood for an EP that’s guaranteed to keep you grooving until we’re able to hit the dancefloors again. 
‘Chamundi’ is up next, and with it comes a pulsating bass line and an airy synth sound that leads into a tantalisingly teased – and beautifully constructed – drop. It’s then left to ‘Napud Chamra’ to finish proceedings, and it does so with a magnificent combination of melodic flair, spoken word samples, and timeless House beats. It’s a stylish end to a stunning EP and another stellar release from Warren’s globe-straddling The Soundgarden label and events brand.
