No stranger to Rebellion, LA based DAVI returns to the label once more with his wonderfully smooth ‘Metropolis EP’ containing four original tracks. Distinguished for his layered and highly skilled production, DAVI has created an atmospheric EP.

"Metropolis is the continuation of my previous EP’s on Rebellion that represent the stories from ancient history. This topic has been a big influence for me for quite some time and I am happy to say that my story is finally complete with this EP”. DAVI  

His musical path began after he joined the Vocal Department of Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory at a young age. Now much older, DAVI is a DJ, producer, music composer and remixer whilst also regularly touring the world. His music has enabled him to grace the crowds in venues such as Avalon, Black Rock City and Monday Night Social, and release on labels including Outside the Box Music, Treibstoff, Nine Records, Stripped Music Recordings and Bits & Pieces.

The latest release on Madloch’s Sound Avenue imprint finds the label presenting the third instalment of its critically acclaimed ‘Correlation’ series. Conceptualized in 2017 with the intent of showcasing cutting edge electronic music, the inaugural edition featured a unique blend of rising talents along with industry veterans, resulting in a cohesive fusion of artists from across the world. 

At the time the label’s music policy was undergoing a shift, emerging into borderless realms and showcasing a broader spectrum of electronica. 

Unveiled two years later, the second instalment furthered the label’s borderless vision with ten selections that touched on deeper, more contemporary sounds to laid back techno, all the way through to the label's progressive house roots. 

Now looking to make the series a biannual event, edition three continues the journey, leaving no stone unturned with a veritable smorgasbord of sound, covering a wide array of sonic space and featuring (in order of appearance) Ercos Blanka, TD, Gavin Rochford, Beije, amháin, Fermata Duomo, Dio S, MATE 0000 and Deepshader. 

Another unforgettable musical journey from Sound Avenue, one which perhaps foreshadows some future projects to come.

Ae:ther releases the stunning single We’ll Be Together, taken from his 2019 debut album on Crosstown Rebels titled Me. Also featured is an exclusive new track and vibrant remixes from Moscoman and Francesco Mami.

On We’ll Be Together a unifying atmosphere is created with intense energy as intricate melodies weave in and out of an introspective vocal, locked to the groove. Blue Lagoon is a glorious subaquatic soundscape crafted by Ae:ther’s trademark celestial synths and taut percussion. Disco Halal boss Moscoman brings his unpredictable and alternative style to the first remix of We’ll Be Together with retro keys and dreamy pads. Finally, Francesco Mami turns in an uplifting house rework, adding infectious rhythm that will work wonders on the dancefloor.

Born and raised in Rome, with German DNA, Ae:ther is an artist who has established his pedigree as a formidable producer and selector. Following six years in London maturing as an artist, producing at Fortress Studios in Old Street and befriending neighbours such as Bicep, he moved to Berlin. Joining like-minded collaborators Mind Against and Tale of Us, Ae:ther immersed himself in the City's scene. After releasing dazzling EPs on Afterlife, his sound of deep emotion and expert audio design came to the attention of Crosstown Rebels boss Damian Lazarus, who signed the debut album Me unequivocally. At the birth of electronic music, its visionary pioneers wanted to soundtrack the future, now that future is here it’s artists like Ae:ther who take up the mantle and guide us into the unknown.

"Atmospheria is our series of ambient and melodic originals reworked into deep and progressive house tracks. Following last year's successful Volume One, we present Volume Two, coming June 19th.

The first of two originals come from Tydrous. The Ohio native participated in Volume One with ‘Winter Fields,' with a progressive rework from Deeparture. This time he presents ‘Into Thin Air," exploring intricate vocal and pad samples layered over delicate piano notes. On remix duty is up and coming Turkish producer Erdi Irmak. Known for his tight grooves and unique percussion, Irmak presents a chill yet danceable rework."

XYZ is thrilled to present a new concept for a release. Producers are the backbone of a label; developing supportive and genuine relationships with our artists is the core principle of XYZ's development.

Our Oppo series is an ode to the figures that we feel are at the foundation of the label's journey thus far. Nobody fits this bill better than Hosini - the Swedish starlet has been with us since day one, presenting Flyga and the enigmatic Soul Search EP. His stunning sound has been the basis of our exploration into deep and melodic forms, setting the standard for XYZ from the get-go.

Oppo gives full creative control to the producer, who essentially functions as the label head for this premiere release. Curating sounds from artists around the world who've influenced his career thus far, as well as a production of his own, Hosini presents a project that fully represents his tastes as an artist.

Esteble have built a trustful relationship with Hosini, as is evident on their collaborative Hypna EP on Do Not Sit. The Dutch duo extends Oppo with ‘Cloudbreaker’. A bassy underbelly sets the stage for an ominous affair, asserting energetic melodies.
