First blossoms are sprouting and we are ready for the next release. The artist combo at this one unites the tight freshness of Luxembourg’s trending Lauter Records co-head Maximillion and the dirty groovin impact of Amsterdam based Spanish guy Subliime. The „Deep Dip EP“ is heavily ‚en route’ of Minimal House, as three originals plus two remixes coming from Tim Etzel (Ewax, Pleasure Zone) and Jampikid (Whoyostro) are doing a fantastic job.

First dip is a „Deep Dip“ and tastes bittersweet with flow vibes and crisp grooves, right perfect for the incoming spring-like sunbeams on properly tempered dance floors. Mannheim based Tim Etzel turns it into a mighty epic piece by pouring out the silky strings in his remix. Enriched with a 90s flavour, it works like magic by enforcing a huge smile on everyones face.
Second track „Funky Music“ even exceeds the name’s meaning, as it’s a modern funk-styled tune with an insane dirtbass that shakes the bump and blows away everything around. No more words needed, full points! Jampikid touches it up in his remix with a pleasant pad which hugs the tight rhythm shacks. Contemporary club music on high standards, so we keep on dancing for the last (but not least) tune „Iowa“. This solo production by Maximillion completes the EP and closes the 5-track-party with a subtle driving vibe and futuristically vocoded vocals. And where’s the after party now?

Sound Avenue opens 2022's second quarter with a new single from label boss https://soundcloud.com/madloch and frequent studio partner https://soundcloud.com/subnode. Now approaching four years in their creative partnership, the Belgian duo had a noteworthy 2021, releasing two well-received singles across the year. September saw Madloch and Subnode deliver their 'A Short Moment' to commemorate Another Life Music's one hundredth release. Backed by remixes from Petar Dundov and Zoi (CA), it was quickly followed by what was arguably the duo's most enigmatic work to date in 'Utopia'. Landing in October amidst support from Eelke Kleijn, Laurent Garnier and Nick Warren, the sleek yet powerful creation received remixes from iconic duo Hernan Cattaneo and Soundexile, along with rising Aussie talent Microlot. Now, presenting their first project of 2022, Madloch and Subnode return to Sound Avenue with the much anticipated 'Bariloche', alongside remixes from Jean Caillou and Fabian Balino.

The release concludes with Fabian Balino returning to the label and providing the second and final interpretation of 'Bariloche'. Born in New York but raised in Uruguay, Fabian Balino is no stranger to the Sound Avenue label family, having released five originals and a remix since his debut via 2021's 'Correlation' Vol. 4 collection. Also, an accomplished DJ, the New York resident has taken his groovy sound to the city's nightlife, performing at PHD Dream Downtown, XVI Rooftop and 1Oak, where he supported international star Felix Da Housecat. Continuing to build a bond with Sound Avenue, Fabian now returns to the label with a groovy take on 'Bariloche'. Tempo and drive come up a touch as the piece takes shape, with siren-like tones and wavering sonics creating an air of anticipation. More enthralling yet is a heartfelt harmonic wave, gently rising as percussion flickers off in the distance, with the second of two breaks drawing closer. Tranquil tones and dulcet chord stabs intertwine as the interlude evolves, eventually reaching an understanded apex and soaring, key changing finale. A sensational interpretation from Fabian, making for a successful Sound Avenue return for himself, Jean Caillou, Madloch and Subnode.
