Continuing a strong summer season, Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint presents new interpretations of Nopi's Flatter'. Originally released in October of 2020 as part of the Ukrainian's well received Where to Go' EP, the creation rounded out the collection on the strength of Sarah Chilanti's dreamy vocals and a delicate piano top line. Now bringing new life to the much loved track, Sound Avenue invites Dmitry Molosh, about:river and GastoM to provide their own interpretations for the summer season.

The first interpretation is provided by Dmitry Molosh who returns to the label for his fifth appearance. The Belarus based producer sits firmly in progressive music's elite class of artists, showcasing his work via Cid Inc's Replug Records, Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, Nick Warren's Hope Recordings and Guy Mantzur's Plattenbank Records. As a mainstay in Beatport's sales charts, Dmitry now makes a welcome return to Sound Avenue with a powerful rendition of Flatter'. Beginning with warm beats and effervescent percussion, it's the pulsating nature of the groove which becomes instantly compelling. Driving, chunky and full of great character, it anchors what is a cosmic slice of progressive house. Emerging melodies marry luminous tones across the first act, before a break of clustered arps and colourful tonal tension spearheads an electric drop and epic finale.

Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint rounds out the month of March by showcasing new interpretations of 'Forest Beast' by Christina Gavrilova aka Forty Cats. The Moscow resident has enjoyed a rapid ascent in the landscape of progressive music, having forged a distinctive sonic identity, resulting in a string of uniquely crafted records that present a resonant worldly sound. Landing in July of 2022, 'Forest Beast' found the beloved Russian artist crafting one of her deepest and most engaging tracks to date. On the strength of remixes from Berni Turletti and Weird Sounding Dude, the release earned play and support from Armen Miran, Eelke Kleijn, Mind Against, Nick Warren, Quivver and more. With two of the versions still holding a place in Christina's Beatport best sellers, Sound Avenue now invites Paul Deep, Ric Niels and Nau Squaglia to re-imagine the track for 2023's impending spring season.

Jakhira is a British-born, Belgium-based DJ and producer.
A classically trained musician with a heart that beats to a groove, his signature style is a melting pot of widespread influences.
Compulsively creative whilst ridiculously meticulous, the multi-instrumentalist blends electronic with the organic effortlessly, forging ethereal explorations into sound.
Original and remix productions have been released on labels such as: Everything Will Be OK, Magician On Duty, Canopy Sounds, Be Adult Music, Dream Culture, Dialtone Records, Nordic Voyage Recordings and many more.
Jakhira’s DJ sets are in high demand and always well received, with notable guest appearances on the podcasts of Bespoke Musik, Magician On Duty, Dream Culture. 
This was further highlighted as Frisky.FM Artist Of The Week, gaining more than double of every other mix on the platform that week.
This lead to his own monthly show on Frisky.FM, called Ethereality. With a greater creative license in radio and podcasting, Ethereality has quickly become known for its expansive take on deep, melodic and -of course- ethereal music without being strictly tied down to one niche subgenre.

"On the next installment of Karakter Records, the label spotlights a truly unique geographic combination where Brazil meets Russia with a Portuguese-Indian blend. Art in Motion and Panorama Channel met in Russia a little over two years ago, sparking the connection that eventually led up to this unique release. “The Last Adventure of Voodoo Houngan” is as fitting a name as ever; already feeding the imagination while the soundtrack fills in the last blanks. The hypnotic rhythms, whispers and pads slowly explain how the dark omen influenced the fate that befell upon Houngan, grasping for a last method to give his final sacrifice a purpose. Or perhaps you tell a different story with that you hear?

Both Art in Motion and Panorama Channel have already earned their spurs as pioneers of the deep, rhythmic and emotional blend of house music. Brazilian producer Vicente Amadeo has seen his earlier works being released on NYC-based Stranjjur and Mother recordings (and earning plays by all the big diggers, such as Lee Burridge and Laurent Garnier), while the Panorama Channel guys have made a steady rise in recent years with their two EP’s on Biologic Records, grasping the attention of for instance Âme and Abstraxion.

Lastly, we are honored that Lisbon based @Switchdance makes his return on Karakter with a remix based around grooving drums, delivering the deepest piece of this release.

For the last release of the year Plano B records welcomes back label head Art in Motion with a collaboration with an old friend Fred Torres and the young singer Isabela Rabello. 
 Sharing the same passion both producers meet while studying sound engineer at SAE in Australia around 11 years ago. After spending some days together on the mountains and diving deep into modular synthesis Wild Runners was made playing around a few different hardwares as the classic Sh 101 which do the bassline job, some great modular sequencer lines and an warm vocal from Isabela. A club track that flows between progressive and indie, fresh and energetic. Lets hope we can all dance together again as soon as possible! See you in 2021 for a new special chapter!

Release Info: 
The latest release from Tash’s Movement Recordings welcomes Ruben Karapetyan back to the label for a new single. The Armenia born; USA based artist made a triumphant return to electronic music in November of last year. Following a ten-year hiatus Ruben’s Movement debut ‘Gignesthai’ delighted progressive house fans with its combination of musicality and groove. Now continuing to build momentum, Ruben returns to Movement Recordings with ‘Hathor’ alongside remixes from Stan Kolev and Matan Caspi.

Ruben’s ability to craft expressive musical journeys continues to shine on ‘Hathor’. Smooth yet muscular, its shapely groove is carved to perfection with rolling undulation driving momentum forward. Developing in waves across the first movement; ethereal phrasing, buoyant arps and exotic drums fill in the framework, before a short break shifts the narrative into mystical territory. Wondrously musical, melodic fragments flow through the centrepiece, conjuring up cross cultural visions, eventually giving way to a tasteful crescendo and rousing finale.

Rounding out the release with the second and final interpretation of ‘Hathor’ is Matan Caspi who returns to the label for his second appearance. June of 2017 marked the Israeli artist’s Movement Recordings debut with a well received remix of Ziger’s ‘Faith In The Future’. Now a constant in Beatport’s progressive house charts with releases via his Outta Limits imprint, Matan makes a welcome return to Movement with a huge rendition of ‘Hathor’. Encased in an electric shell, it’s reshaped groove and rhythmic pulses are vibrant, building momentum as waves of effects and rolling percussion elevate mood towards the main break. Dubbier than its predecessors, atmospheric overlays and hazy harmonics add further intrigue as the centerpiece unfolds, before a rush of drums sparks a commanding drop and percussive finale. A stunning remix from Matan which rounds out a superb offering from Tash’s Movement Recordings, continuing a strong start to 2021 for the Greek imprint. Highly recommended.

PREMIERE: Ruben Karapetyan - Hathor (Matan Caspi Remix) [Movement Recordings]

In a quest for recognition in an increasingly superficial world, Rio de Janeiro DJ and producer Vicente Amadeo, known as Art In Motion, wields his insatiable musical appetite as his main tool. The project was born in 2011 when Vicente returned to Brazil from Australia, where he studied sound engineering at renowned S.A.E Institute. 

His sound is primarily driven by a blend of acoustic instruments, synthesisers, eurorack modular and various drum machines—showcasing his creative prowess as a producer. Vicente is also the founder and driving force behind Plano B Recordsi. With 13 years of experience 
the label has established a solid catalogue and gave him freedom to experiment and express his artistry and solidify his sonic identity.

Over the years, his labels have hosted numerous notable artists, including Tal Fussman, Gespona, Atelier Franceso, L_cio, Tony Casanova, Florian Kruse, Rancido, Mila Journe, Waltervelt, Enzo Elia, Nordfold, Maz, and many others.

Since his early releases as Art In Motion on Stranjjur (New York) and Mother Recordings (Berlin) in 2012, his artistic momentum has been evident. These works earned him a spot in Beatport’s top 100 and garnered significant feedback from underground luminaries such as Lee Burridge, Laurent Garnier, Funkagenda, Nic Fanciulli., Robert James, Gorge, My Favorite Robot to name a few. The year 2015 marked a sonic transition, further highlighting his maturation in the studio. His debut album, "Llankay," was a pivotal release that defined his new musical direction.

Vicente has also enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere of respected clubs and festivals across Europe, showcasing his talent at venues such as Sisyphos (Berlin), Golden Gate (Berlin), SASS Club (Vienna), Undercurrent (Amsterdam), OFF Sónar (Barcelona), Atelier (Prague), and LX Music (Lisbon), along with two tours in Russia in 2015 and 2018.

Currently, Art In Motion resides in Lisbon, where he is completing his master's degree in Music & Technology.
