Artem Arknet - Hypnotize [Future Avenue]

'magic.made.by.r is an artist and DJ hailing from the Ukraine, otherwise known as Rena. Already rapidly making a name for herself as an emerging artist of note on labels like Renaissance, Bau_Haus, Ultimo Paradiso & Maccabi House she now joins the Music To Die For stable for a brand new EP release. This really explores the diverse facets of her sound, voice and inspirations taking shape as a name to watch and for music lovers around the globe to explore her music and connect more deeply to her as an artist through a crafted body of work.
It also showcases why the industry needs to take notice of her inimitable style and music cementing her as an artist to certainly watch. 

The release has been made over six months with the real back drop of war in the Ukraine on her doorstep and it's hard not to notice the references and impact this has had on her music.

The first single, ‘I Saw The Devil’ is an indie dance meets house gem which presents her unique and inimitable style of electronic dance music heavily influenced by house and techno, but taking in more leftfield songwriting and performances. Lead track ‘Eternity’ is organic house instrumentation with a warm summer shimmering bliss with an indie dance and alt house edge.
‘Louder’ is a driving harder edged house sound pushing into progressive and melodic house territory with deep, progressive synths working up tension and interplaying with a really captivating vocal that's made for big systems and will have you singing along. While ‘Silk’ and ‘Be Together’ flex Rena’s club muscles with deeper workouts and pulsating synths for DJ sets using faster drum work, driving hats and percussions and hypnotic entrancing live analog synth patches.'

Micheal and Levan and Stiven Rivic return once more to homebase for an exciting new release with remix support from Circulation and Noel Sanger. The trio set up Kunai back in 2013 as a place to release their own productions with some their close friends. A safe space of collaboration and creativity away from the cut and thrust of the industry, and their latest release 'Never' is a prime example. In original form, its elegant lines and uplifting vibe is the kind of track that saw them take the progressive house scene by storm landing them signings on Balance, JOOF and Mistique Music. Soaring pads and emotive adlibs abound on 'Never' which twinkles with delicate arps and squelchy sonics. On remix duties, a revitalised Circulation hit the ground running in 2021 after a short hiatus, quickly breaking new ground with releases on Bedrock, Selador and their own Recurculate. Here they darken the mood with a deep reese-led vibe that figuratively hugs the edge of the dance floor, while celebrated artist Noel Sanger adds his unique deep trance flavour to 'Never' taking it into warm up territory.

KODA's debut release, "Out Of A Dream," on the One Of A Kind label showcases the producer's immense talent and potential within the progressive house genre. The three-track EP offers a mesmerizing journey through uplifting melodies, lush atmospheres, and finely crafted beats.

The title track, "Out Of A Dream," immediately captivates listeners with its dreamy synths and infectious rhythm. It seamlessly blends euphoria and melancholy, creating an emotional connection that stays with you long after the track ends. "Maybe I'm Different" follows suit, displaying KODA's ability to infuse subtle variations and unique elements into his sound, ensuring a distinctive listening experience.

The collaboration with Disto (SL), titled "6AM Stories," adds an exciting twist to the EP. Their joint effort results in a track that flawlessly combines their individual styles, creating a harmonious blend of sounds that truly stands out.

The Sri Lankan progressive house scene has been flourishing in recent years, and KODA's emergence is a testament to the country's breeding ground of talented musicians. With its rich cultural heritage and vibrant music scene, Sri Lanka offers a unique perspective and creative inspiration that translates beautifully into progressive house music.

We are happy to welcome Brazil-based DJ and Producer Rass with his debut release "Orientalism".
