Ricardo Ruben has been bad, you have been bad, and do you know Sven Vath?  So.... can't you dance? With a rhythm as slow as a dopey toucan flying towards the mountain, but with the aplomb of a gunman preparing to shoot in a duel, a bass drum that pushes hard, a percussion that carries a lilting, and bucking groovy step, a piano chord that sticks vehemently and with determination, keyboard notes falling here and there like drops of rain, and bass notes left hanging in suspense after zigzagging sounds. Everything seems very, very serious, then a pitched down voice brings us to the question, again asking, perhaps ironically: “So can you dance? ... Coz Aibinbad..?”

Benny Reich (Megan Baye) - Nathan Fizz'Orange

Clandestino’s own Nick J. Smith breaks ranks for a solo outing on the label, setting hearts aflutter with three balmy kaleidoscopic cuts. Each track is forged in ideas from the classic dream house era between 1988-’91; evoking the halcyon period’s sense of hope and positivity yet presented in a modern lustre for today’s dance-floors.

‘You Make Me Feel’ has tight crisp drums to underpin heavenly keys, woozy pads and choral voice stabs. Breese fleshes out the classic house feels even further with his Frankie Knuckles style emotive piano-led groove. ‘Gets Me High’ takes a deeper path, with its infectious bell melodies and sparkling chords driving the spirit along. Clandestino jack the energy levels with their edgier, acid take. Racing drums set out a moodier atmosphere, the tension swelling and eventually popping as the originals stuttering keys are finally brought in.  ‘Can’t Stop’ closes out in a dreamy style; swirling pads and cool organ touches combine with a seductive vocal to trance you out. 
This is a package that chimes with longer days and warmers nights, as the darkness begins to fade and pastel coloured skies draw near.

Big boss Macaulay teams up with MIJO to bring us four bangers made in 2016 and never released before.

"Amigos Por Siempre" and "Amigos Por Siempre (Acido Mix)" are two tracks for going hard from the beginning. Nasty bass lines and fast repetitive bleepy sounds.

"Te Lo Dije Wey" (wich means "I told you, dude"), it's a track that is going directly to your "Play it at high volume at the illegal rave party" playlist.

"Veninte Tracks" is the final track of this E.P. and probably the nastiest one. Why don't you listen "2016 E.P." and judge yourself?

It had been a long night, the hours spent fixated on the ceiling willing her body to shut off had felt endless. As the sun streamed through the gap in the curtains waking her from her short slumber, she realised he wasn't there. Pulling herself up she made her way down the stairs and into the kitchen. He didn't look up as she entered, intent on giving nothing away. She knew he was hurting, but words weren't needed right now. His body language told her everything she needed to know, and with that she knew exactly what to do.

For the inaugural release on the newly founded Dancing With Strangers imprint, label co-founder Paul Louth steps up under his Agile Kind alias. The EP, titled Pyramid, is made up of two punchy original tracks backed up by two remixes from Oliver Moon and Kirk Degiorgio AKA As One. Our pick 'Mime' matches haunting pads and synth stabs with a slow, sleazy groove.
