Irene Radice makes her return to the scene after a few quiet years. She has re-invented her sound which is clear when listening to 'Foehn EP', a release that contains two brand new originals by the Italian based artist with Venezuelan roots. Deep, cross-genre dance floor tracks with that timeless analogue feel, Irene manages to translate the exciting sound she's known for as a DJ into her own productions.

Edu Yattah surprises with his Muse Mix of the title track. A downtempo organic tribal piece of work. This one travels beyond music, this is religious and puts you in a deeper state.

And to end the release in style melodic heavyweight Nhar delights us with his rendition of Umdam. A rework that will for sure find its way into many of the deep/melodic/progressive house DJ's sets.

After making her debut on the label five years ago with career-first release ‘Vanadis’ alongside Vivrant label founder Jeremy Olander, MOLØ's put out originals on Marc Romboy’s Systematic, Anjunadeep and delivered BBC Radio 1-supported remixes for Eli & Fur as well as Duccio on Moscoman’ Disco Halal.

‘Aqua Lull’, MOLØ’s debut album, is the first of a series of short-form albums on Vivrant. Occupying the space between the traditional EP format of 2-5 tracks and full-length 10-12 track albums, the series seeks to offer label artists comprehensive artistic freedom.

MOLØ elaborates: “Over the past five years, the scene has changed. I've seen many small clubs and live music spaces close down, resulting in new artists being pressured to conform to what people in power say move tickets and streams. This pressure clashed with my creative process and what I was making didn't fit the mold of a peak time set.”

The seven-track epic features four solo originals and three collaborations with San Francisco’s Atish, Iranian vocalist Running Pine, and Swedish multi-instrumentalist and producer boerd, known for his work with Gud and Stella Explorer.

"The Clapping Song" is an American song, written by Lincoln Chase, originally arranged by Charles Calello and recorded by Shirley Ellis in 1965, shortly after Ellis had released "The Name Game".
The song returned to the charts when the British pop-rock band “The Belle Stars” covered the song in 1982, on their self-titled LP. Their version charted at number 11 in the UK, and number 4 in Australia.
In our edit we kept some original vocals but we added some electronic beats and modular bass to create fresh and high vibes. The result is an instant classic for every dancefloor.

About Chalanga:
Chalanga is an italian duo composed by DJ and producer Patrick Di Stefano and multi-instrumentalist Diego Grassedonio. Their project blends the energy of electronic music with the evocative power of live instruments: afro-futuristic percussions, psychedelic flutes and the shamanic presence of the saxophone. 
The result is a collective ritual moving between downtempo, organic house and melodic techno, crafting soundscapes that resonate with ancestral traditions and contemporary visions.

Because Sharing Is caring, here is one of the highlights of Hernan Cattaneo's SunsetStrip Buenos Aires, a very simple mashup that contains mainly one of my remixes from last year i did for Sebastian Sellares on Or Two Strangers  and some parts from all time progressive classic John Creamer and Stephan K feat Nkemdi "I wish you were here".  So basically Hernan played it and a 18.000 crowd went off :D

Writing this text right now feels awkward. When we received this demo in late 2019, pictures of people dancing barefoot on soft grass at picturesque open-airs unfolded before our inner eyes, as for us, Blindsmyth’s "Gryllidae“ represents the quintessential summer track. 

But now, late in March 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic is in full effect. Currently, we don’t know if a single open-air or festival can take place this summer or if we will be able to enjoy the season the way we are used to, at all. However, this major uncertainty is no reason for us to change our release plans, as even if our activities will probably be limited this summer, "Gryllidae“ will still be your friendly companion. The beauty of this track is its ultimate easiness, even though it is full of edgy moments and elements. It is a very unique composition, motivating you to listen to it over and over again, discovering something new every time. 

Berlin-based Blindsmyth, who has shone before with releases on Diynamic and Cosmic Society, was able to create something with "Gryllidae“, which many producers often try to achieve, but mostly fail: Perpetuating the feeling of summer with a piece of music.
