Marking the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere, the beginning of Summer Solstice is considered the middle of the summer and the beginning of the hottest part of summer.

We’re thrilled to relaunch our sister label Tatacoa with a stunning debut from up-and-coming Argentinian producer Salvador Poletti.

With Microblue, Poletti delivers a richly layered downtempo journey that blurs the lines between the organic and the electronic. The release features three original tracks and a standout remix by Xande.

Drawing inspiration from the retrofuturist world of Jupiter Jazz, these tracks weave together Rhodes keys, alto sax, analog synths, and drum machines into a seductive, textural soundscape.

“Social Anxiety Disorder” leans into slow techno, evoking the tension of overstimulating social environments. Tempered only by Guuse’s ethereal vocals that anchor us in calm.

The final original offers a haunting downtempo moment, guided by the melodic soul of a ronroco, as a sampled voice reflecting Isaac Asimov’s views on religion adds depth and intrigue. Xande’s remix reimagines this piece with a club-ready energy, while retaining its introspective core.

A bold first step in the next chapter of Tatacoa - Strictly Downtempo.
