On "Blurry Trip," JGR —the project of Chilean producer Julián García Reyes, based in Madrid for several years— moves into a more acidic and determined territory, where each track pushes forward with a steady sense of momentum. "Blurry Night" and "Flaming Trip" unfold as two chapters of the same journey, an intense sonic progression where pulses grow, melodies tighten and the energy becomes increasingly defined. The EP comes together as a cohesive whole, each element aligning to project a sharper and more consistent sonic identity.

The release is completed by two remixes that broaden the EP's scope: Thomass Jackson delivers a reinterpretation of "Blurry Night" that accentuates its darker and more enigmatic side, shaping a dense, subtly mind-altering atmosphere that carries the track into a new emotional space. Meanwhile, UK duo Close Proximity reimagine "Flaming Trip" with a more exploratory approach and a drive clearly rooted in trance and progressive, adding a thick, forceful sound that enhances the original's expansive character.

Berny brings the grit, the hypnosis, the machinery, while Abrão’s brings the soul, the scars, the sun-bleached psychedelia. Together, they carve something that sits outside trend cycles and inside pure instinct, a track that feels lived-in, dream-stained, and spiritually rough around the edges. For Berny, the veteran producer who’s crossed continents and reshaped his sound after a lifetime of clubs, from Sisyphos in Berlin to House of Yes in NY, this release marks another solid brick in the identity he’s been sculpting post-pandemic: darker, sharper, fully IDWT-coded. Dilby and Pornbugs team up on ‘Between Us’. Pornbugs celebrate 20 years of Bondage in 2026 and 21 years as a DJ/production team. Moving in fresh circles has always been an important part of their longevity, so signings so Selador and Sudbeat have exposed them to new ears showcasing their crossover sound.
Equally, on-form Dilby is having something of a renaissance with his chunky deep house sound now, finding increasing favour with the progressive house elite. Signed to a bewildering selection of labels from Glasgow Underground to Sudbeat, the world is his oyster.
 
Opening with ‘Hear Me Out’ their combined bumpy deep sound marries incredibly well. Uptempo and lively, this is the future sound of retro, and we are here for all of it. Next up, ‘Hold The Line’ joins the dots between deep and progressive house, keeping the funk and soul intact. Bass-led and groovy as hell, this is your new secret weapon. Play it loud!
‘Fade Into You’ is the first of the vinyl only tracks and marks a stark change of pace. Deeper, more soulful and markedly more thoughtful, this is modern deep house in its glittery new rave clothes. Pairing nicely is the flipside track ‘Beyond Fear’ which rumbles along with techy bass and a chunky groove.
