For our third edition of “Untold Stories", a series where we feature new remixes and interpretations of our back-catalogue, we invited a few from the new generation of progressive producers, all making their debut appearance on the label. Please welcome Anton MAKe, Milos Ilic, Dimuth K and Ivanshee.

Kicking the release off is Anton MAKe, currently based in Kazan (Russia), who picked up Michael A’s “Endless Time” as his weapon on choice. Michael A, a name synonymous with modern progressive house, has been a consistent driving force and an inspiration to many producers for his style. His debut on Juicebox via “Endless Time”, which originally featured remixes by Blusoul and rAin, was heavily supported by Nick Warren & many more, making it one of the top 5 selling tracks on the label. Having remixed Anton’s tracks in the past for Genesis and Balkan Connection, it was time to return the favor. Anton himself has been having a fantastic few years with standout releases on Replug, Welcome Music & Asymmetric, marking his territory firmly. Anton takes inspiration from the Michael A’s original mood on “Endless Time” and drives it into a more darker, deeper & funkier route with a solid groove comprising of rubber-basslines and simple yet effective drum programming along with harmonic additions to the main original riff.

Swiss producer Night Talk returns to BOg's electronic music playground Atlant. After releasing his well-received 'Moran EP' in September the AYM label head compiled a three tracker by the name of 'Anamorphosis' that combines an artsy and futuristic approach to electronic music - if only you take the right perspective to penetrate Night Talk's work of art. The title track 'Anamorphosis' already covers the complex topic the producer raises with the EP, as an anamorphosis is a distorted projection or perspective requiring the viewer to occupy a specific vantage point, use special devices or both to view a recognizable image. And these individual images are evoked by Night Talk's title track, which comes along with a rolling bass line and catchy chords creating a darkly influenced atmosphere that draws the listener into the dramatically constructed - in reference to a drama play - arrangement of the track. 'Anamorphosis' is a complex story told in various and multilayered musical acts with touching breaks and breakdowns perfectly put together - but depending on the perspective you take.

Night Talk's EP 'Anamorphosis' will be released on Atlant on May 24th, 2019.

Having worked with Sasha on his ground-breaking "Involver" and Involv2er", Jamieson's solo career has found a similarly elevated level of success. With his music wedded to the acclaimed microCastle, Quivver's Boz Boz and his own Circular Sounds Recordings, Jamieson's Mono Electric Orchestra pseudonym has seen him feature on John Digweed's Bedrock and Nick Warren's Hope Recordings with stunning results. Remixing Kastis Torrau & Donatello's "Ida", under his own name, Jamieson now returns as Mono Electric Orchestra to rework "Organik". Creating a sonic landscape of unparalleled quality, heavily effected reverse reverb hints at Khan's motifs as orchestral passages sing across the mid-range. Hitting its stride, a huge glissando bassline punches through the low-end in stripped-back glory against a ticking percussive cadence, before the melodic structures build once more with a plucked riff and rousing string passages that are straight out of the Sasha production playbook. The result is a remix that is at the very pinnacle of underground dance and a timeless classic.
