Nphonix first made his mark on the electronic world via a slew of dancefloor-oriented drum'n'bass tunes. Known today for some great releases on R&S, Hyperboloid, Subtitles and Balans among many other labels, he's now focused on a more polyrhythmic electronic palette, including bass, techno and breakbeat. This new EP composed with fellow producers Daniel Myer aka Architect (half of legendary EBM/industrial project Haujobb, and of techno duo Rendered with 14anger), Fisky and Bleep is a collection of eclectic bangers. The tunes are designed for the dancefloor populated by forward-thinking clubbers and contains many influences - from dub techno and memphis rap to IDM and french touch - while keeping a pumping rave energy.

Nphonix has never been an artist to settle into a single groove. His journey through electronic music began in the high-velocity realms of Drum 'n' Bass, but his current interests lie in weaving more intricate rhythmic patterns. With a respected history on labels like R&S and Hyperboloid, he now arrives at Tripalium Corp for his latest endeavour: The "Demonz" EP is a collaborative effort, drawing on the talents of producers like Architect, Fisky, and Bleep, and it presents itself as a unified assault of five distinct club tracks. Each one is engineered for a discerning crowd that values both musical adventure and pure physical response, merging a wide array of inspirations into a cohesive, frenzied package.

Premiere here, the title track, fruit of the collaboration with Architect, fully embodies this ethos by forging a compelling alliance between Breakbeat's rugged swing and Techno's driving force. It creates a mood that is both shadowy and irresistibly upbeat, a difficult balance to achieve. The track feels like a night drive through a neon-lit city, where the percussion provides a skittering, unpredictable engine and the low-end hums with a palpable sense of urgency. This is a clever and potent piece of work, drawing its power from textural tension and rhythmic ingenuity rather than overt genre homage. Hailing from Guatemala City, Dario began his journey as a resident of DMNSNL, later co-founding the label alongside his colleague Jorge Galindo. In his debut EP, Dario captures the essence of his sound — punchy basslines, acid-infused sequences, and a refined ability to build tension and immersive atmospheres.
Two original tracks intertwine to deliver a solid and magnetic debut that reflects the identity of a producer in full creative evolution.

The experience expands with four remarkable reinterpretations by Ruksby, Jorge Galindo, Lucas Novaes, and Vleks, each bringing their own vision and reimagining the originals through distinct sonic perspectives.

Astropolis Records reaches its tenth year with a compilation that looks both backwards and forwards, bringing together long standing collaborators and a new wave of artists for a one off release built on connection and contrast.

Oniris and Benjamin Rippert deliver one of the most intimate moments on the album with ‘Sonate’, a track that values space as much as sound. A Path Untold is the expansive musical vision of composer and producer Daniel Merrill, known for crafting a boldly unique sound that binds elements of future garage, breaks, lo-fi house, downtempo, and film scoring aesthetics. Equally suited for eclectic dancefloors and intimate listening spaces alike, APU’s music offers immersive, melodic storytelling through innovative composition.

His sound channels personal, heartfelt expression with an emotional, otherworldly quality - fusing elegant, syncopated grooves with an undercurrent of fierce defiance. Thematically, his work explores universally relevant dualities: ancient and futuristic, euphoric and melancholic, technological and natural, individual and collective.

AIDDEN is a Progressive House DJ and producer born in Brasília, active since 2011, whose trajectory reflects consistency, musical identity, and deep respect for electronic culture. Influenced by prominent names such as Guy J, AIDDEN has developed his own sound—immersive, hypnotic, melodic, and driven by precise grooves—that turns every performance into a carefully crafted journey.

But the last 10+ years has seen Nphonix switch focus away from drum&bass towards a more diverse, polyrhythmic electronic palette, as bass / beats / techno and house all started to colour newer work.
