Italian duo Len Vitz and Charlie Iapicone debut on Hot Creations with ‘Playhouse’, backed by a remix from  Cologne favourite Kolter.  

Featuring as two young talents rising from the Italian house scene, Len Vitz and Charlie Iapicone are gearing up  for their biggest release to date following a series of EPs across recent years. Joining forces for the first time to  rework Ann Peebles’ 1972 soul hit ‘I’m Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down’, they debut on Hot Creations with their  collaboration ‘Playhouse’ - backed by a stellar remix from Cologne-based DJ/producer and label boss, Kolter. 

“The EP was born by chance, an experiment which turned out successful. It’s a mixture of sounds and  recordings accompanied by a taste of vintage soul music.” - Len Vitz.  

Harnessing the original production’s resonant vocals and funk-fuelled riffs, ‘Playhouse’ brings a 70’s classic to  modern dancefloors as slick drums and slinking bass grooves reveal a track made for memorable moments. On  the flip, Kolter’s remix brings an additional slice of vigour and energy as he utilises signature chords and skippy  percussion to shape up proceedings.

Derby DJ duo Deltech make their debut on label boss Danny Howard’s Nothing Else Matters imprint this summer with their ‘Work That’ EP. Established in 2019, Deltech have created a unique underground sound that has landed them multiple #1 releases on Beatport along with huge support from key players in the scene such as Jamie Jones, Solardo and John Summit, alongside countless signings on highly respected imprints; Hot Creations, Sola, Moxy Musik, Nervous and more. Their ongoing support throughout the industry has driven them to push the boundaries of their House and Techno tracks with powerful, distinct sounds in order to further cement their position in the scene. Their ‘Work That’ EP showcases their signature sound with plenty of infectious basslines, rolling percussion and crisp, energetic grooves; resulting in two slices of Tech House magic that will work well in the clubs this summer season.

Asquith returns to his self-titled imprint following a couple of external EP announcements for Who's Susan and Private Persons.

Rave Til Dawn EP sees the London-based artist follow up the massive 'Let Me EP' with another clutch of takes on anthemic, big-room techno.

The title track Rave Til Dawn does everything a Let Me followup should do; huge compressed kicks, reverberating piano stabs and epic call-out vocals all collide on an absolute monster A-side. Second track 'Down' traces a more tool-y techno line. Rolling with the percussion and popping with mechanic energy. It's all compiled with elements of the original techno template shot through with a ton of UK bass weight.

‘Crush’ takes Asquith's manic monotone stab template into more techy territory, opening the production up and leading us into a cocoon of pressurised space. Stripped back but still crushing. Final track 'LCD Steppin'' sees us entering back into pacier territory that regularly pops up at the end of Asquith EPs. Shifting pad samples overlay a rickety jungle break and a voice calling at us to "Step!", before we're hoofed into the long grass with a 4/4 kick all the way up at 155bpm. It's not quite 160 but that's what the pitch slider is for ;)
