Sidney Charles has been busy cooking up more gold in the studio, and this time for Do Not Sleep. He starts 2020 with two dance floor weapons, and the release comes hot on the heels of the launch of his own label, Heavy House Society and once again another year of non-stop touring.

Charles' new EP has a classic old school Chicago style to it. First up, Groovy Mushroom Feat. Lady Vale is a slick and soul enriched track with deft stabs, drums that will sweep you off your feet and plenty of authentic US house vibes to make it all the more timeless. Fire vocals add fuel to the flames and make sure this one will utterly destroy the floor. Then comes 'The Pump'  with its tough hits, driving bass that is deep down and dirty, and plenty of raw percussive energy all getting you on your toes.  Finally Demuir steps up with a killer 'Playboy Edit' of The Pump which takes this release to a whole new level of wonky naughtiness when its comes to a bass line.

Dan Reid & Gary Benetton have been making waves for a while now with appearances on John Digweed's legendary Transitions show, standout releases on Knee Deep In Sound, We Are The Brave and Stil Vor Talent, and a uniquely twisted but melodic sound founded on impulsive drum programming. The Switch residents are no stranger to the top of the Beatport charts after hitting the Top 20 with their debut single, and are sure to return there again with this new offering, which has already received support from big hitters like Carl Cox, James Zabiela and Hot Since 82 

Opener Gozer is a warped acid monster, with a bright 303 line unfolding over hard hitting techno drums and in amongst dark vocal stabs and huge icy hi hats. It's a real roller to get huge dance floors locked right in. Stripe then strips things back to a hypnotic groove riddled with big wooden black hits and searching synths that survey the dance floor. It's brilliantly atmospheric. 

Closing out the package, and following up from his fully supported (Solomun, Loco Dice, Patrick Topping, Luciano etc) hit track 'Krayzee', Serge Santiago serves up a huge analogue mix of Gozer that is high pressured, hypnotic and perfectly acidic so cannot fail to make a massive impact.

'Danny Serrano’s Eat and Beat delivers the debut EP from Skayem and Anoite. The artists deliver a drum based project filled with groove made for the dancefloor.

“Oh Yeah” delivers a groove filled with upfront and deep vocals as well as an overarching melody. “Substance” is a darker, more drum based, version of its sister track to give that raw and heavy type of tech house to the dancefloor.'
