Meet Nicolai: a musical soulmate that shares an enormous passion for sophisticated electronic music, his alias: Toulouse.
This mix is a fine journey through elegant piano pieces, tidy basslines,  hypnotic chants, top-notch hi hats, deep atmospheres and… well, listen for yourself. 

Our friend is also a strong human being that had an accident and recovered through music, what we mean is he started to work on his record label „Ltd, W/Lbl“ (Limited White Label) and an EP from the hospital. Music is surely a healer.

He focuses mainly on slow emotional tracks with jazz, classical and ethnic touches. He’s worked with artists and labels on his first vinyl release that reissued 4 digital tracks. Make sure to follow his label for new unreleased material.

A great example of love for music and a beautiful ecos del mundo session is his gift to us.

The Olmecs were the first great culture to arise in Mexico and Central America. They established a city on a river island in 1200 B.C. or so: archaeologists, who do not know the original name of the city, call it San Lorenzo. 

San Lorenzo had no peers or rivals: it was the largest and most magnificent city in Mesoamerica at the time and it exerted great influence in the region. 

Archaeologists consider the Olmecs to be one of only six “pristine” civilizations: these were cultures that developed on their own without the benefit of migration or influence from some other civilization.

A natural for stirring melodies, Berlin-based @samshure channels his all-around manifold array of talents into his new EP, „Mirage“, taken from his forthcoming debut album „Laconia“ on @stilvortalent. Shure says: „“Mirage“ is a collaboration with my father who plays the Oud lines in it. I had the main groove of the track ready in my Berlin studio and felt like it needed some acoustic element. „Kamala Bani“ was the first collaboration with amazing producer Cioz. We had the most fun working together in the studio and really enjoyed making the track. The track „Encanto“ is for sure a nighttime track with a mystical atmosphere. The Art Vibes Reworks II project started as a crazy idea during summer 2018 and is only now seeing daylight. If you’re following Art Vibes for a while you may have seen the release of the first edition back in September 2017 including 10 reworks of our early catalogue.

Having grown a diverse catalogue over the last five years, it was inevitable to offer a fresh outlook on the tunes people have danced to in many locations around the globe. Being given the chance to work with respected producers to carry out such a project is humbling in many ways.

Nacim Gastli & Pandhora - Sinaï (Anatolian Sessions Rework)

Sol Selectas is a label famed for its unique sound fusing ambient textures with melodic grooves and rhythmic melodies inspired by ancient folk law.

The label's new release welcomes Turkish artist Ali Kuru who recently featured as part of Sol Selectas recent Summer Sol III compilation, but now returns for a solo EP also featuring a stunning remix from the iconic Satori.

Ali Kuru has also featured on labels such as Exotic Refreshment, Underyourskin, 8Bit and Leng Records, building up a global reputation for being an ambassador of the Turkish electronic music scene, whose innovative approach has helped inspire the country's growing club culture.

Satori needs little introduction within the world of low slung melodic music as within the genre he has helped define the style that so many others draw influence from. Known especially for his remix skills, he has reworked people ranging from Acid Pauli to Damian Lazarus, and this is another fine example of his exceptional talents.

"Mazlum" opens the EP with an expertly produced sound combining Middle Eastern instruments with synthetic sounds and a skilful blend that’s neither too raw or overly polished. Keeping the earthy sound of the instruments, the sequenced percussion adds DJ friendly rhythms perfect for a packed nightclub dance floor.

Satori provides the second track with his remix of “Mazlum” which is set to rival the success of his previous Sol Selectas remix which is widely considered a classic of the genre. Focusing on the Middle Eastern elements, he reinforces the kick drum making for an imaginative rework that paints sonic pictures of Arabic landscapes.

Third of the tracks is “Donuk” with a chugging groove, vibrant percussion and long cello notes amidst an array of bending synths and vocal textures. An epic journey of spiritual transformation, this exquisite track takes on many forms with its enlightening aura of discovery.

The artwork by Helia Jamali takes us deep into a mystical valley of cosmic delights, eclipsed totalities, and outer-dimensional dualities, where your primal emotions rise up to the surface, and guide your path.
