Unrilis continues to revitalise its Rilis series with a new release by Belgian techno artist Davinson and it also features solo remixes from Samuel L Session plus Dave Angel.

Rilis is a classic series that was founded by Rino Cerrone in the '90s as an experimental outlet for his dark and hypnotic tracks. Rino Cerrone has since retired from the industry, but the legendary series was recently kick started with new releases by Ritzi Lee, Samuel L Session and Van Czar.

Davinson is from the city of Groenendijk and along with being a talented DJ, he is also well-known for his releases on labels such as Christian Smith's Tronic.

Samuel L Session recently dropped an EP on Rilis and this time returns with a remix in the spine-tingling style he has featured on other imprints ranging from Len Faki's Figure to Ben Sims' Hardgroove.

Dave Angel is a veteran producer from the UK whose been releasing music since the early '90s and was a big supporter of the original Rilis series. He boasts original releases on iconic record labels such as R&S Records and has remixed the likes of Joey Beltram.

"Dust" opens the release with its pulsating pads, driving percussion and modulating bassline. Samuel L Session remixes Dust into a stripped back version with added suspense and Dave Angel's mix adds Detroit style pads plus extra energy.

"Schizophrenic" is second of the originals and its pounding kick drum is joined by industrial edged percussion and a trippy vocal sample. "Hexagon" closes out the release with its glitchy synths, fizzing hi-hats and murky atmosphere, which is driven forward by a solid kick drum and fast-flowing rhythms.

Canada's Greg Gow delivered a Detroit-inspired techno remix, while Turkeys Procombo, and Italy's M.I.T.A. both delivered more stripped-back and driving raw style! October 2017 brings the next big release from Christian Smith, with his album project Synergy. Compiled of 12 original tracks, the album is a selection of collaborations he has produced on the road in studios in New York, Brazil, Tokyo, Germany, and Barcelona.
Tronic drip fed fans with two releases, first was Neon Jungle a groovy, vocal driven, funk inspired EP produced with house Legend Harry Romero, and the second a pummeling growler of an EP The Runner with Brazilian techno king Victor Ruiz. 
Christian brought together legends in the industry with John Selway and Harry Romero on this LP, along with current techno favorites Victor Ruiz and Wehbba, not forgetting some new stars on the rise with German artist 2pole and Drunken Kong, a duo from Tokyo taking the techno world by storm with their latest debut album released on Tronic earlier this year.
A special track to note is Jackin with John Selway. Christian and Johns bootleg Krispy Kranz taken from Laurent Garniers classic Crispy Bacon was a smash hit back in 2004, however, the duo has been collaborating together on endless projects since 2000 and have reunited especially for this trance inspired beat.
The album has something for everyone, variation is key here, with each track very different in its production and inspiration. Wehbba and Romero really bring some electro funkiness into the mix, whilst 2Pole and Victor Ruiz keep it dark with peak time, late night chugging techno. And finally, Drunken Kong deliver an industrial, minimal track throwing an unexpected but welcome addition to the 12 track innovative album.

Having enjoyed a career spanning over 15 years, German artist Anja Schneider continues to deliver stellar dancefloor material, this time via her 'Closer' EP which includes the anthemic and intoxicating house cut 'Sissi'.

Having established her Mobilee imprint as a guiding force in dance music, co-founded with Ralf Kollmann, Anja Schneider's mark on dance music history is well documented. Now she looks to build her Sous Music label as another source for quality tracks focusing on her own music that showcases the many sides to her musical persona. Also expect Sous Music to deliver forthcoming contributions from Fort Romeau, Mella Dee, and on this release, Saint Petersburg based producer Nocow.
