XYZ and When We Dip present the Selectors series, where we give our family of producers an opportunity to display their prowess behind the decks. Expect unreleased material from across the label collective, as well as classic gems and heady grooves from some of the undergrounds finest heads.

Through work with the likes of Maya Jane Coles and Atjazz, Rashid Ajami has built a sterling reputation with releases on Get Physical, Einmusika, Anjunadeep, and Tale & Tone. For his inaugural EP with the TOR imprint - Never Knew - he summoned his exquisite brand of deep house. As the Londoner steps onto the Selectors decks for the first time, he continues to showcase his knack for low-slung groove and emotive hooks.

Today we're back in dreamy territory with a sensational Gin Martini by Nōpi. Sophisticated, deliciously smooth but still a lot of kick in it!

Having first appeared in early 2019, Nopi has enjoyed an incredible rise through the deep house universe. Within just one year the Ukrainian talent signed releases on notable imprints such as Kindisch, Akbal Music, When We Dip / XYZ, Sound Avenue, Seven Villas and Anjunadeep just recently. 

His own take on deep and dreamy house has propelled him to one of the genre’s top up and comers. Today he's making his debut on the very best bar for electronic music with an exclusive mix consisting of only unreleased material! Wow, what a joy. Thank you dear Nōpi, we're completely in love!

Riccardo and Marco have been working together for years now. A tipping point in their career was when they got introduced to The Soundgarden label and its chief Nick Warren,  who basically guided the talented duo to their unique signature sound. it was also when the name Madraas was born, while the friends were producing under a different name earlier. 

It is a great pleasure hosting Madraas on our show. After a busy release year in 2020, including fantastic tracks on All Day I Dream, Kindisch or Hoomidas, there is more to come from Madraas very soon!
