I was like man, what the hell.
Whys he gotta be that way?

I’m not a pro, calm down, I’m just tryin to have fun.
Not actin hard, not tryin to be a gangsta.
That just aint me, that’s not what I’m tryin to be.

I’m not connected
don’t know folks in the industry.
Just doin this for the love.
None of that bothers me.

I’ve always loved hip hop.
And this is my hobby.
I have a blast making music.
So I’m gonna be me.
And if you don’t like it.
That’s fine, you don’t have to listen G.

Not tryin to be nasty.
Or perpetuate negativity.
Just tellin my life stories.
Maybe when I’m gone
This could be my legacy.
My hope is my decendents will listen
And through that they can know me.

Of all the tracks I’ve made.
Not one professional paid.
All my features are friends and family.
I’ve never made a dime.
And that is perfectly fine.
I got no reason to whine.
Like I missed a shot from the foul line.

My most prolific feature 
is my daughter Lydia.
She’s been in 8 of my tracks.
Cause she’s got it like that. 

Her first feature was when she was 4 years old.
I love hearing her voice in my tracks yo.
My wife, Crissys voice is in 5 of my songs.
Rockin the beat with me all along.

In fact every member of my family features.
My daughter Merey, sons Adam and Tristan
Even recorded our cat in one sample.
My sister amber sang in 4 of my tracks.
She sounds amazing, never wack.

My wifes friend Jennifer
And her son Uriah
And our family friend Mark
A real newscaster.
  
My son’s friend Marco
Who goes by the name DJ Polo
Made me a phat beat 
that Lydia and I rapped to.

Even my parents made cameo appearances.
In a couple of my songs.
Now that was cute and strong.

More recently DJ Real, et al. and me.
And my buddy from our Dodomyte Posse
Paste, AKA James Ashburn III.

So to all my family and friends who feature and to those who listen and support. I appreciate you.
