Boot & Tax return with their second EP following the success of the sold out "Acido" EP  which received a multitude of plays from a plethora of djs in a profusion of discotheques.

These Milanese maestros deliver four dance floor delights in their own inimitable and distinctive style. Working across a range of tempos and incorporating more of Boot's great vocalising they also manage to weave a Jaw's Harp solo in there and make it seem like a potential replacement for the TB 303.


This also takes us to 50% of Optimo Trax so far being of Italian origin. We're not entirely sure how this happened but despite rumours to the contrary, we are open to releasing music from other countries within or outwith the EU.

Optimo Trax OT 008 is released on 12" and digital June 2014. Distribution by Kompakt and Rub A Dub.

Team up Roxy Epoxy and Chris “Gobo” Pierce and you get “Presenting”, the absolutely fantastic debut album from Faux Replika. Since the break up of The Epoxies (Fat Wreck Chords) in 2008, Roxy has kept herself quite busy, These songs were written half long distance with her in Oregon and Chris in New Jersey, and half on Roxy’s trips back east. The result is an equal mix of their two styles that mix and bubble in the cauldron of rock n roll. The end product is nothing short of electrifying. Roxy’s low hypnotic voice and captivating performances as The Epoxies frontowman has drawn comparisons to Chrissie Hynde, Siouxie Sioux and even a young Leonard Graves from The Dickies. Now take Chris Pierce. Here’s a man who has produced bands like The Ergs and Nightbirds and has the ability to utterly destroy any instrument he picks up. Lock the two of them in a studio in New Brunswick and this is what you get. An eclectic mix of punk rock, new wave, hyper fuzzed out electro-rock, deluxe hooks and mega riffs. Think DEVO meets Tilt. No Time For Fighting (JAB Edit)

The synthpunk persona of Kit Watson. What we have here is a mish-mash of old and new; fresh attempts and stale goodies; mostly original, with a smattering of covers. Much of this has not been mastered properly, and most of it was executed in "toy software". Now that I have the right gear for the job, a self-titled album is in the works. Don't hold your breath, though. I'm the Tom Scholz of synthpunk. It's not ever perfect until it's perfect. I have also decided not to post here any versions of any of the songs going onto the album. When the album releases, that's when all the songs will be available.
