A no-surprises straight up progressive house tune.  My first in 10 years!  I should add that I'm not sure whether it sounds as if it's been mastered properly as I can only use my laptops basic soundcard and earphones - I'd appreciate any constructive feedback!

A Word Of Warning (Original Mix)

Anyone who read the comments of the original of this track will know that I wasn't happy with how it turned out, so I turned to a good buddy (and excellent producer) of mine Andy Lindsay for some help.  He took the original track, added some fantastic elements to it which completely transformed it, and after a week of fine tuning between the two of us, what we have here is our first collaboration!

I've been a fan of progressive house & breaks since 1995, starting off listening to the likes of DJ Pressure, Mick Walsh, Ed Case, Caspar, etc from Dublin before finding Northern Exposure and the Global Underground series - those were the days!  

I've been a DJ and back in the late 90's picked up some studio gear to try my hand at producing, though nothing came of it.  Recently I got back into producing and almost miraculously I've been able to write some semi-decent stuff!  

I achieved a dream of mine of having a full-blown release in 2014 thanks to Jacco at LuPS records and continue to write the sort of music I like to listen to.  It might not be the most current style of progressive house but when it's done well, I don't think there's a better type of dance music out there.  My stuff is generally pretty straightforward, though as I keep learning I'm sure this will change!

All of the tracks I've composed will stay here, imperfections and all, as it's cool to see where I started out and what I've learned while doing it.
