It was so exciting to represent India in IITM004 Trance gems have been my personal favourite music pieces and this set is an epitome of it. My best mix for trance lovers till date I'd say!

Suraj Tanz is an Indian DJ,music producer,musician and remixer.

Since 2016,Suraj Tanz has hosted a weekly radio show called TANZ TAKEOVER which airs on UK's premium radio station Real Dance Radio. It is currently broadcast to more than 20 thousand weekly listeners.He plays alongside Ferry Corsten,Timmy Trumpet,Sam Feldt,Monstercat.Tanz Takeover (often abbreviated as TT) is a weekly radio show aired every Saturday at 16:00(GMT) and 21:30(IST) and hosted by young enthusiastic artist Suraj Tanz. It is a 2 hours show which brings the best melodic dance music. 

A dance music enthusiast,being only 18 years old and 6 years of hard work to prove it. He started producing at a ripe age of 13 at Breakout Band,learned DJing later and started having fun around with DAWs. He is currently studying music in depth. You can catch Suraj Tanz at his weekly radio show and live performances.

That’s how Suraj Tanz describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up listening to Techno(Richie Hawtin),House(deadmau5),trance(Armin Van Buuren),funk(The Isley Brothers)..all which became infused with his own love for dance music, Tanz ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into tracks where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, and occasional vocal hooks… all on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling house beat.

In this commercial world of music,Suraj Tanz wants to spread melodic music. He thinks that people are very disconnected with this melodic sound and so he wants them to experience a new beautiful musical journey. 

As a producer, pianist, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically. He is also studying science and plans to connect his science education of acoustics with his music passion and help the world in a unique way.
