RUKHE DAO DHORMO NIYE RAJNITI - A Modern Bengali Song written, put to tune, orchestrated and  recorded by me in 2004. The recording took place at the Prasad Studio, Calcutta. A relative of mine who had ties with the CPIM strongly urged me to make a song against the politics of religion that was being practised by the BJP. I was told that it would be included in a collection of songs and probably also poems to be brought out by the SFI, the student wing of the CPIM as campaign material for the parliamentary elections.
