Over the last few years Luigi Tozzi has been calmly making a name for himself as one of Europe’s go-to DJs for his distinct brand of techno that draws both from ambient music as well as from the club.
Raised in Rome, the DJ and Producer takes influence from the timeless italian sound, which he’s further developed with an emotional, swirling, dubby atmosphere. There’s an unmistakable texture to his productions.

While prolific, Tozzi has kept his output within a close family of labels. Swedish label Hypnus are key here, having released a number of the producer’s EPs as well as his acclaimed debut album, Deep Blue: Volume 2, in 2016. Alongside Hypnus, Tozzi has worked closely with Mental Modern and Outis Music, releasing both solo as well as collaborative work with the label’s founder, Dino Sabatini.   

 Tozzi’s unswerving commitment to his sound, alongside his pensive and considered development as an artist has brought him to where he is today, with a touring schedule that’s taken him to some of the finest clubbing establishments around the world. Within this, he maintains a residency at Khidi, Tbilisi, which in recent years has emerged as one of the best clubbing destinations in Europe. It’s through this platform that he brings his unique hybrid sound as both a DJ and producer, and can evolve and experiment as an artist.

Global Vibe Radio 256 Feat. Luigi Tozzi (Hypnus Records, Outis Music)

Floating removes you from the outside world and gives your mind the freedom to wander wherever it wants to go. You have a space where you can lie down, removed from the pressure of thinking, discussing, or participating in anything at all. It’s an environment that exists almost completely opposite our current plugged-in, sensory-driven way of life. Flourishing and regaining back all the dark/bright, warmth/cold, emotive/cheerful, ambiguous and mysterious sensations that has now all but vanished leaving abandoned souls. 

Dycide is a producer / DJ, professional sound designer and visual artist from Munich / Germany. Back in 2014, he established the Dycide pseudonym in order to release mainly minimalistic deep drum and bass. However, he slowly started changing more and more to techno oriented music and, along the way, he and his close friends established @iorecs, an audiovisual label, focusing on experimental ambient and deep techno and atmospheric artwork. Besides these projects David is working as an interactive sound designer and audio software developer.

Acclaimed also as a producer, Ryogo Yamamori has established a platform of his sounds on 951beat and it has grown to feature some of his closest affiliates including Kan Shinomura, Hisaharu Sato,Skoll,Sinnertia,

Ryogo Yamamori has been involved in techno since the late 90’s. Since he has released tracks from respected labels, notably Josh Wink's label Ovum - Trinity EP, got charted in 58th on Beatport's Techno which made worldwide selling. Ryogo’s « Journey » was released from his label “951beat” and 40th with Resident Advisor and featured from DJ Mag, XLR8R, BBC RADIO1, Orb, Monument, After having collaborated in Detroit Movement's official compilation, he has received offers from Ovum, Secession, Human Lessons, Epione Records, Katharsis, Ovunqve, Machine to just name a few. In 2017, Ryogo Yamamori started his own vinyl & digital imprint “kagerou” material alongside brand new works.

Italian-born producer Dino Sabatini is an artist whose strong body of work has helped to develop his local scene, and redefine what it means to work with electronic music in the 21st century: though his sounds are completely modern, synthesized and rendered with crystal clear production, he continues to tend the deep roots of lost wisdom and mythology that have sustained human creativity for millenia.

We are psyked to host the Madrid-Berlin based artist Psyk, who stands as a solid staple of the current techno scene. The versatility and maturity of his sound and the breadth of his knowledge are clearly displayed in his discography, from feverish tracks like "Arcade" or "Eclipse" to deeper cuts like "Lowdown" or "Fall from Grace". His acclaimed debut album "Time Foundation" on Luke Slater's Mote Evolver was followed up by multiple successful releases on labels such as Tresor Imprint and FUSE imprint among others. A regular at venues like Berghain, DeSchool or Fabric, Psyk has been around the globe sharing his unique blend of techno with the world. The attention to detail and craftsmanship he displays in his own productions has earned him well-deserved praise by industry heavyweights time and time again, be it on his own label Non-Series or elsewhere.

“In this live I wanted to express different facets of my sound, there are stems of many new productions that will be released in the future. I tried to combine everything with the sonic aesthetics of Opificio and I think I reached a good compromise between drum n bass, IDM and techno. I hope it can evoke at least in part the emotions of that night.”

OCCA hails from the snowy city of Sapporo, located in the northernmost region of Hokkaido, Japan. In addition to inviting renowned DJs like Peter Van Hoesen, DJ Nobu, Haruka, DJ Yazi, and IORI to perform at his Archiv parties at the legendary Sapporo club, Precious Hall, OCCA has established himself as a respected DJ in his own right.

OCCA has played at several notable events, including Future Terror and Gong, which were organized by DJ Nobu, as well as Exit the Labyrinth, Balance by Mindgames, and Dommune×Boiler Room. His performances aim to take the audience on a sonic journey, where he expertly blends existing techno tracks to craft new sounds and create futuristic techno-style elements.

Monochrome presents, 𝖕𝖗𝖎𝖓𝖙𝖊𝖒𝖕𝖘 𝓥 : Forest On Stasys, Aura Sonora.

This spring, Monochrome is offering each month to one or several artists to discover their influences and inspirations through a forty-five minute to two hour recording. These three recordings will focus on percussive rhythms between Ambient, Deep Techno and Drum & Bass.

Artist biography :
The creativity of Forest On Stasys is Influenced by tribal minimalist techno in the nineties and the deepest and most abstract techno currently. In his tracks the most seductive elements are the use of resonant basses perfectly combined with long and reverberated pads, extensive sonorous landscapes that are modified by continuous movement of LFO, solid grooves and strident percussions.
But not everything that comes out of his head is created with an intention to be used on the dance floor. He has a great admiration for drone and ambient tracks, without a rhythmic pattern that predominates, where the main factor is to captivate the listener with melodies that can be marked by a strong melancholy or with notes that give a certain feeling of satisfaction depending on his current mood.

Konsudd is the super group made up of two of electronic music’s finest: Konduku and Aa Sudd. Combining forces like two celestial bodies spiraling into one another to form a galaxy, their individual sounds coalesce into a universe of half tempo electronics teleported directly from the future.

Captured live at the legendary Positive Education Festival, this mix is a testament to the alchemical power of collaboration. It unfolds as a deep trip through fractured rhythms and glistening, crystalline textures. Deconstructed kicks echo through shifting sonic architecture, interwoven with shimmering synth pads that hum with otherworldly energy. Here, rhythmic complexity and futuristic sound design converge to create something meticulously crafted, yet breathing with an organic, unpredictable life.

One last mix to end the year. When Svreca sent me this set, he could not have known what it would mean to me. I have spent so much time looking back lately, reliving old discussions and re-imagining moments passed, often lamenting how much was lost along the way. In just under three hours this mix communicates the flow of years. An archived recording from a special memory, it reminds me that the passage of time is beautiful even in what it fades away. Listening to it, I become lost completely, as though I am everywhere at once.
