Clear as spring water, the memory of Shoal's beautiful live set echoing through the Norwegian mountains, finally sharing the stage together at Monument (@monument-podcast) after meeting in Amsterdam several years ago. Those familiar with our dear friends at Harmony Rec (@harmony-rec) will be undoubtedly familiar with Kenny's impeccable body of work, and for the rest an eye-opening treat awaits. Here, Kenny gathers highlights from his recent live sets and newly recorded material, arranged and refined into a perfect contemplation of the crisp arboreal air, a vivid composition of body and sound entwined tightly beneath the earth. The anticipation surrounding the forthcoming Mostra Festival is real, with only a few weeks remaining until music aficionados convene in the enchanting backdrop of Barcelona's Hangar and Castel De Montjuïc. In our ongoing collaboration with Mostra, we are thrilled to present the latest mix from an artist whose name resonates deeply within our community - Forest Drive West.

Recorded live at last year's ExtraMostra event at Lolita, where Forest Drive West shared the stage with Ana Sola & Estrato Aurora (whose set we also had the pleasure of hosting) and Mostra's own Josh Hoppen, this set epitomizes the artist's mastery cultivated over the past decade.

What unfolds in this recording is a pulsating amalgamation of tribal, bass, halftime, and techno, a signature style meticulously crafted by Forest Drive West ever since his debut EP, System in 2016. The auditory journey commences with an immediate liftoff, as infectious grooves propel the listener into an interstellar expedition akin to a spacecraft hurtling towards unexplored realms. Approximately 30 minutes into the set, Forest Drive West adeptly recalibrates the energy, initiating an exploration of novel, uncharted territories with a meticulously woven techno narrative. The seamless transition of grooves adds an element of intrigue, rendering the entire listening experience undeniably interesting.

Forest Drive West is poised to grace the illustrious "Pati" stage of the Castel De Montjuïc on the evening of Friday, March 29th—an occasion sure to be nothing short of magnificent.

A warm welcome back to Berlin based Saša Delimar who released his beautiful EP ‘Sreča’ with us a while back. He crafted the fifth episode of our SoundSculptors series, a live set which offers loads of juicy textures and loads of interesting sound design experiments. He tells a story which appears full of tension and movement within each element. It’s a snapshot of one particular mood shown from many different angles. Saša offers his very own fusion of genres and styles, creating his own sonic language. Listeners can find characteristics from Glitch, Techno, bass music and other influences. 🥁

Saša Delimar is a DJ with over 15 years of experience, carving the name steadily as a music producer since 2017, first through releases in a domain of the deep techno and more recently taking the turn into the sphere of experimental music.
To date, he has been released on labels like QEONE, IO, Illegal Alien records, Lowless, Lett, Pyramid Blood and Oslated.
Saša’s chief preoccupation in music production is finding the balance between a track for home listening and playing in the club, equally embracing the experimentation of texture and composition and the rhythmical intensity of the club track.

The long-awaited 55th episode of the kkum Podcast returns with a 57-minute ambient DJ set from HVL, based in Tbilisi, Georgia.

First coming to attention as a member of Okinawa Lifestyle duo in 2009, Bassiani/Horoom resident Gigi Jikia a.k.a HVL has become a leading voice of thriving techno movement centered around Tbilisi club scene. Since starting solo career in 2013, HVL was busy exploring more diverse range of genres and styles. His solo releases which have appeared on underground outposts like Bassiani Records, Rough House Rosie, Tabernacle Records and Organic Analogue, have testified to taste that’s also reflected in his Live performances and DJ sets.
The outstanding debut Ostati LP on Organic Analogue Records (2018), intended as a manuscript of the sound of Tbilisi, is a seductive update on the established HVL’s dynamics, centered on outboard house and techno with a noticeably understated mood.
As HVL’s reputation as a solo artist grows, so does his status as a selector and DJ. Jikia has taken his skillfully crafted Live shows and DJ sets to new heights in 2018, hitting up some of the best dancefloors in the world from Berghain and Hï Ibiza to infamous Berlin Atonal.
