A year of discoveries. Thinking back through the last year, there has been a plethora of fantastic labels, and artists that have passed under the Sundays banner. This Sunday and month in general also marks the second year of monthly playlists, and guest mixes. The latter of which is our focus for today as we welcome an incredible producer, Inhmost. From beat to beat-less, his refined approach to crafting ambient mixes provides listeners with auditory tales that flow so well, all while working in a variety of moods and feelings. Inhmost is one of the monikers of S.Huxtable who wanted a representation for the more ambient and downtempo works that he creates which would allow the freedom of expression within these genres.

The goal of the Inhmost sound is to blend deep atmospheric feelings and organic nature that combine into a dreamlike state of mind that come straight from the heart.  The intention is that whilst listening to the music the listener is transported to calmer places of beauty and of light and shade.

Inhmost 는 앰비언트와 다운템포의 장르적 범주에서 자유로운 표현을 지향하는 S.Huxtable 의 또 다른 이름이다. Inhmost 사운드의 목적은 깊은 대기적 감정들과 유기적 자연을 섞어내어 마음에서 우러나오는 꿈과도 같은 정신으로 결합하는 것이다. 
그 의도는 음악을 듣는동안 청자들이 아름다움, 그리고 빛과 어둠의 고요한 공간으로 이동하기를 위한 것이다.

@segueambient is the name used by Jordan Sauer, an electronic music producer from Vancouver, BC. He creates ambient and dub-techno music with layers of field recordings, acoustic and electronic sounds, creating sonic soundscapes that conjure images of nature and emotions of peace and introspection. He has released numerous solo albums and collaborations with artists from around the world, including three LPs on the Silent Season record label. A high point of his career was the 2013 release of the dub-techno album Pacifica and the following performance at Mutek the following year, captured here in this live recording. In 2020, Jordan was commissioned by Canada’s Michael Smith Genome Sciences Centre to produce Gene Machines - an album based on field recordings and atmospheric sounds from one of the most advanced genetic research labs in Canada.

Presented as part of STREAM ON, a project by MUTEK, with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts.
