Disconnect and previous single If I Was Gone are part of “Drifted”, an upcoming EP inspired by experiences of separation and resignation during the year 2020.

Synth-pop duo Sin Cos Tan have three albums and EP, a host of packed-out festival appearances and a big dose of musical experience. Finnish duo consists of two already established musicians: producer-DJ Jori Hulkkonen (who has put his magical producer hands on works also with Tiga, Pet Shop Boys´ Chris Lowe, Jose Gonzalez...) and Juho Paalosmaa, songwriter and vocalist also from famous synth pop duo Villa Nah. Sin Cos Tan duo received huge international critical acclaim for their self-titled debut album and single “Trust” back in 2012, including a nomination for ‘Critics Choice of Album of The Year’ at the Finnish Emma-Awards. The boys chose not to rest on their laurels and released only 10 months later their successful follow-up album ‘Afterlife’ including international hit single Limbo. Third album "Blown Away" was released fall 2014 with singles "Love Sees No Colour" and "Lifestyle" and "Heart Of America" and EP “Smile Tomorrow Will Be Worse” came out 2015. Then they decided to rest, but now 2021 they´re back again with new singles “If I Was Gone” and “Disconnect” and releasing upcoming EP autumn 2021! They will perform at Kesärauha Festival in Turku in August 2021 and it will be their first performance in almost 6 years. No shortage of drama, intensity nor sheer pop perfection – this duo delivers. Tenfold. 

From their self-titled debut album in 2012 onwards, Juho Paalosmaa and Jori Hulkkonen have established a classic partnership within the duo-format, great songwriting and cool synth sounds. Sin Cos Tan´s track "Sooner Than Now" from their debut album (2012) was featured in HBO series 'Halt and Catch Fire' a worthy successor to Breaking Bad and Mad Men. It was chosen to series by music supervisor Thomas Golubic (Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Better Call Saul etc.).

Walking Through the Night is a reflective and atmospheric rock ballad set against the backdrop of a solitary nighttime walk through a quiet city. The narrator moves through moonlit streets, replaying moments of the day, unspoken words, and past decisions. Each empty alley and faint glow pulls them deeper into introspection, as they weigh what they’ve gained and lost over time.
The song blends intimate emotional confessions with cinematic city imagery, gradually building in intensity. Instrumental passages—featuring guitar arpeggios, soft synths, bass grooves, piano, and saxophone—give space for the emotions to breathe.
Ultimately, the journey through the night becomes both a literal walk and a metaphor for searching for lost inspiration, with the dawn representing hope and release. The ending leaves the listener in an open, haunting mood, as the city fades into morning light.

It is about pushing away from societal pressures to go down a certain path to be seen as 'success' and instead carving your on way.

The debut single from multi instrumentalist Daniel Crichton is a slice of warm DIY indie pop. Stepping into the spotlight for the first time as a solo artist, the entire single was recorded in lockdown on his phone (it's a decent phone). 

An honest and ambitious first offering, at 2:43 the track is a bite-sized insight into an artist discovering their voice.
