Once again Sydney's inner-west pushes forward a huge down-tempo sound with Lyall Moloney's latest hip hop dancehall jam, Party Don't Stop feat. Elde Rocky and LaLuz. Drawing from rocksteady to trap, the track illustrates a new sound Lyall is bringing from the deep, deep south to the entirety of the globe. It is a sweaty marriage of Beck's Odelay and the first ten years of the Island Records catalogue that peaks well into the early hours of the morning.

Bursting at the seems with production, beat making and touring - Lyall celebrates his third European tour in 18 months with the boomy track at the forefront of his diverse collection of sounds.

The single is also being featured in Queensland's Big Pineapple Festival Promotional Competition - becoming a theme song for the festival itself.

Lyall Moloney has found the perfect groove combo between electronica/hip-hop and floaty, sub-aquatic guitars, gnawing his way through musical genres like a rabbit on a carrot. Beats, synths and sample techniques of the 90s R&B vibe.

Another galatic-dub-hop footstep on the way to Bootleg's debut album (Asleep In The Machine - due out late 2015) and this one featuring Lyall Moloney.

Head In The Clouds - Bootleg Rascal (feat LyMo)

Ghetto-Dubsters, Bootleg Rascal, rack a new tune into their boombox, it's anothery with a stack of rhythmic oomph. The band once again tap their ghetto side, and this time B-Raz pump out grooves that echo old school Dre and keeps their hybrid pop/dubaletic aesthetic strong. The song will also be included on their debut album ( Asleep In The Machine).

‘Holding On’ brings up a track that was a standout in the live set for the last tour - a song that began as a minimal swirl of sonic synths on an old Casio. A beat making generation or two later and the song now has pulsating synths, a hip-hop beat, Q-Dome’s honey-dipped vocals, and a touch of L.A. swag.
‘Holding On’ follows the heels of Bootleg Rascal’s unique ghetto-dub singles, Oh I Know and Head In The Clouds. After a recent trip to the L.A., (tapping into their current spiritual home), the band have been working up a number tunes full of bolt-on melodies and hectic hybrid beats. A sound that has been the inspiration for their upcoming album, Asleep In The Machine, to be released November 2015.

Following on from their last sellout national tour, Bootleg Rascal are out and currently on tour, banging into live shape their new brewed tunes. Their reputation for shows that drip like a bacon and caramel waffle has expanded and this tour has already sold out gigs in Brisbane (The Bearded Lady) and Sydney (Newtown Social). As well, the band have just been added to a couple of festivals come this Spring/Summer to turn the heat up. Including Originals Music Festival (Sunshine Coast), Festival Of The Sun (Port Macquarie) and Lost Paradise (Glenworth Valley) at the end of year.

'Asleep In The Machine' (single), sees singer Q-Dome in his element. The song maintains the unique Bootleg flavours with a sexy Rhodes piano and Jimmy's intergalactic guitar hooks laid down over a trip-hop beat. The feel and grit of a Bootleg song with the extra Rascal sheen. Bootleg's new album is being garnished as we speak, and is set for release at the end of this month (November 2015).

The boys will be dropping the clip for 'Asleep In The Machine' soon. Next up on the Bootleg Rascal tour stop is Europe. Where they'll be joining their brothers in arms Sticky Fingers on tour in November. Performing their own headline shows and supporting Sticky. Coming home, they're not slowing down, jumping straight onto three Aussie festival lineups; Festival of the Sun, Lost Paradise and The Falls Festival.
