Saint-Saëns Violin Concerto No.3 - 1st Movement

Chopin - Prelude no 6 in B Minor (Lento assai) is one of 24 preludes composed by Frédéric François Chopin (1810 - 1849).

This prelude was played at Chopin's funeral on organ. Its melancholy melody is primarily given to the left hand.

Dirk Maassen: Lullaby for the Sleepless

A set of 11 original piano nocturnes by pianist composer, Phil Best. 

Nocturnes are dark, melancholic virtual love songs full of pathos and longing. Each one feels like an intimate soliloquy about unrequited love, heartbreak and desire.

Inspired by Chopin's masterpieces of this genre, Phil explores a more contemporary approach, mixing in jazz, blues, pop and filmic elements.
