Seid ihr bereit für die erste Jubiläumsexpedition?!
Überall wo er kann, spielt Lichtschalter K.i. (@Lichtschalterki) mit Vinyl-Platten. Nur zur Not geht´s auch mal digital. Heute wird uns Lichtschalter K.i. mit einem sportlichem Vinyl-Set zum mitschallern und mittanzen begeistern. Einen festen Stil findet man bei ihm nicht, viel mehr möchte er sich in verschiedenen Musikrichtungen ausprobieren. An einem Tag spielt er melodischen Techno, an einem anderem mal "was ins Gesicht". Doch auch Electro oder Techhouse Platten gibts von ihm auf die Ohren. Die Musikbranche hat nicht in etwa durch Zufall ihren Weg zu Lichtschalter gefunden. Durch den Fernseh- und Rundfunkbetrieb seines Großvaters hatte er schon als Jugendlicher Zugang zu hervorragender HiFi- und Rundfunktechnik und konnte dadurch den Radiosender Sunshine Live direkt nach seinem Start empfangen. Dazu kamen einige Trance und technoide CD´s und seitdem ist er durch die elektronische Musik infiziert. So lag es auch Nahe sich beruflich in der Nähe seiner Lieblingsklänge niederzulassen und als "Lichtschalter" und Techniker bei unserem so verehrten Elipamanoke zu arbeiten. Lichtschalter K.i. ist ein unverzichtbarer und zuverlässiger Teil auf jeder fetten Party, der sein Potential im Auflegen lange hat schlummern lassen. Für viele ist er ein guter Freund der heller strahlen kann, als die Lampen die er bedient. Auch als guter Awareness und Ally fällt er immer wieder im Kampf gegen Diskriminierung auf. Und jetzt schnallt euch an und strahlt eine Stunde gemeinsam mit uns!

Hypnotic Techno & Abstract Grooves

Surface Division is a techno project that moves between the poles of hypnotic, groove and the more abstract side of the genre. Deep rhythms, driving beats and a constant search for unconventional sound forms characterise the sound. The focus is on his own productions, which are seamlessly interwoven with tracks by artist friends and personal favourites to create a dense, immersive soundscape.
In addition to DJing and producing in a professionally managed studio, Surface Division is also part of the Urban Rumble Crew - with the aim of curating events that convey the essence of club culture and techno in its most reduced form.
