Surgence shows a return to the label with his track 'Ghetto Box'. With music under the name Bazil spanning over a decade, he has appeared on imprints such as Dispatch, Flexout and the former early neuro label Full force. He also works full time as part of a live band incorporating the technology side by adding fx and dub delays, as well as working as a mixing engineer with credits on albums such as 'Dread Times'; which reached 38 in the official uk top 40.
The Bazil sound is far from over however it has converged to a dubier flavour with most of his material being released on the Dreadzone imprint Dubwiser.
Surgence has now taken over the main driving seat of his own style of Drum and Bass, which involves delving through his archives of sounds and samples, whilst incorporating hints of the old style Neuro and Tech Funk filled influences. Expect much more under this Surgence alias and keep following Bazil for your dub bass fix.

You might not recognise the name but you will have definitely heard Surgence in the past. He operates under the name Bazil and has been a member of Dreadzone for over 10 years. Here he settles into his latest alias with these special pre-release tracks on Dublin label inHabit. Mood Planet and Isolate VIP carry his dub stylings but hit with a much heavier, techier bedrock. First release on Subplate recordings was out May 10th 2019, shortly followed by his Shapeshift EP on Voyage music supported by SkankandBass and dnbdojo.
