Surplus & Subdivision - Alpha (Celsius Recordings - 11th April 16)

Feeling a bit nostalgic, so put together some tunes that should roll back the years for ravers who feel like taking a trip down memory to the not to distant past. 
Before EDM, MP3s, shuffling, Facebook, CDJ’s, streaming, smoking bans, legal highs, when people bunned lighters and not smart phones in raves, when independent record shops were in every town (Red Eye, Streetwise, Blackmarket, Slamin Vinyl, Chemical to name a few), tape packs and vinyl were the staple format of every raver. 
The End, The Sanctuary, Bagleys, The Blue Note, Heaven, Bar Rumba, Mass, Stratford Rex, The Velvet Rooms, all hosting nights I’ll never forget. Albums like Cybotron, Wormhole, Inside The Machine, Musique Concrete, Modus Operandi, Sawtooth, Speed Of Sound, Timeless, New Forms, True Colours were some of the standout LPs. Kool FM, One in The Jungle, Eruption, Pure FM, Ruud, is where you heard new music, You Tube was not even a thing! We live going forward but it’s nice to look back so hope you enjoy these tunes as much as I have over the years!
