Surreal Faces Group returns with their third album, ‘Show Me Something Out of Nothing, dropping January 26 on all platforms!

No fuss, no jams, no extended 12min outros, no noodles. Just the band playing some damned good songs written on an elevation of experience. A sonic delight for hunters of the noise, the pop, the sounds of space…the experience. 

With new ferocious upcoming set-list guarantees with the spaceadelic funk of  ‘Fuckin in the Band’, the dark-Caribbean retro KROQ-esque ‘I Got Something’, spaced-out desert rock crunch of ‘Direct Receiver’ and the party bouncing reggae of ‘Pack A Bowl’, the entire record is laced with psychedelic nods, bass heavy power chords, the maniacal vocals of barker Buck Wayne and a leveled-up rhythm section featuring Bongerwrecker & Steve ‘Muthafuckin’ Thomas, the band cooked up some funky stuff for everyone’s earlobes!

Primal examples of musical collaborations with accompanying sonic explorations of familiar materials, all earthbound from the cosmos, drenched in herbal odors and smoke filled receptacles, harking a throwback to the Progressive Rock and Jam Band cultures, mixed in with strange and unusual places to create an atmosphere of improvisational art, surrounded by large amplifiers, loud bass guitars, thunderous drums and a swirling homage to genre-bending jam sessions of dizzying psychedelia and metallic mayhem. 

This is a devotion to the weird, strange and unusual navigations of modern classics, standards of improv jazz, Lo-Fi Instrumentals, Math Rock, early 90’s alternative and Scandinavian power metal!
