Feelings, part two

“ANIMAL” is the first single from the album “DENSITY” by Seattle-based electro-synthwave trio SURREALIZED.  Written in a remote cabin in the high desert grasslands of the Umatilla Indian Reservation in Oregon, “ANIMAL” is a sonic anthem of the human condition; a calling out of the struggles of societal and cultural conflict, the inspiration of standing up for love and the power of fighting from the heart… embracing our “ANIMAL”.  The song conveys a unique futuristic progressive house groove embracing melodic stylings of retro and neo 80’s synth pop creating a landscape that is entirely infectious, unforgettable and timeless.

Lyrically, as you might expect with a name such as “SURREALIZED,” the songs are written and delivered in an almost coded manner speaking to the soul as much as the mind – all for the purpose of a higher, ethereal sense of communication. SURREALIZED harkens back to the synth-pop/wave fueled 80's in one way, but commands the dance floor with infectious future bass and house beats and hooks, while simultaneously drawing on dreamy, electrobeat driven, psychedelic anthems.

Live Surrealized utilizes a vivid Light show with multiple video projections that further enhance the psychedelic ambiance.

Surrealized has shared the stage with many national and International acts, most notably Bonobo, Amon Tobin, Kid Koala, Daedelus, Yppah and more.
