Forced into a life of crime at a young age when faulty wiring caused a fire which destroyed his home, ultimately causing his mother’s death and leaving he and his disabled sister homeless, DJ quickly learns the meaning of survival when the property slumlord refused to take responsibility for the devastation that his unscrupulous business practices caused.
