Friction supporting 'Roots', from Survival's next release on Dispatch - 'Last Call EP'

Returning to the Dispatch main label this October, we are pleased to present the ‘Last Call EP’ from Survival, a formidable four tracker, spanning the full breadth of his unique sound. 

Following a busy few months, with Survival releasing the ‘Take It Back’ album and a Dispatch Dubplate (amongst other commitments), the fruits of his labour continue to blossom, with quality music flowing that still feels distinctively different to his previous. 

The production shows no signs of haste, yet the vibe instils a distinctive urgency into any set; it is carefully constructed, but naturally formed and the EP spans from frantic stomper ‘Cold Food’, to the haunting lushness of ‘Only’ and the crisp, tantalising bass pressure of ‘Roots’. 
Serving up a stellar selection, Survival blesses Dispatch once again, with an outstanding EP.

Sus inicios en el Drum & Bass se dan en el año 2012 gracias a su hermano (Dr. Kick) quien le dio
a conocer este género que en poco tiempo se convertiría en su pasión y estilo de vida. En el
siguiente año aborda un curso de DJ con Alejandro Vernet (Unreal Project) donde consolido
una base de buenos principios y conocimientos para concretar una técnica de mezcla ágil y
delicada.
Su aparición en la escena nacional se da a la corta edad de 16 años con una propuesta solida
enfocada musicalmente en el Liquid y Deep. Con el paso del tiempo hace parte de la creación
del colectivo “TREESOUNDS” y su proyecto personal “LIQUID:ARTE”, ayudando a promover
sonidos frescos entre la urbe bogotana.
A sus 23 años este artista ha compartido escenario con varios iconos en la escena global
como lo son: Atlantic Connection, Benny Page, Command Strange, DJ Marky, DJ Patife,
Goldie, InsideInfo, Lenzman, LSB, Nitri, Saxxon, Survival, Villem, Xtrah y Zero Zero.
Participando en varios festivales como: Bakatech, Outlook Festival Launch Party Bogota,
Radikal Styles y Rock al parque, logrando compartir su música atreves de la radio nacional y
varias ciudades Colombianas.
