Story behind this song:
During this Covid-19 lockdown time, I have committed myself to create tunes & lyrics at my leisure.

My tunes are deeply inspired by Maestro Ilaiyaraaja's compositions - not as direct adaptations - but He's there with me as a force when I come up with them. Lyrics is like a mnemonic for me to express my tunes better as I am not a trained singer (If you want to sing for me, feel free to DM).

I do believe in His ideology of "music should happen and not created".

This tune happened on April 6th, night 9 pm, at my terrace. I was walking & wondering how this virus made everyone stay at home, away from all the things we've been thinking as "essentials". Just having a place to sleep at night is luxury now. There are millions of people around the world not having it. All these realisations hit me.

But, at that night, I didn't want anything more than a calming tune to detach myself from this plight around me. I was having mixed emotions. Safe & vulnerable, privileged & peasant, knowing & dumb. But, I didn't want my mind's noise to get me. So, I just started humming what I wanted at that time, "some music to forget myself". 

I started humming the tune & found it flowing like a river without any second-thoughts at any place. It made me calm. I sang it aloud few times. Then the beautiful Tamil gave me the lines in no time.

Yes, just like that it "happened". Decided to share it with everyone. Because, at the end of the day, even the most beautiful music is just part of the cosmic noise. Let my noise also be a part of it. Talking about cosmic noise, sorry I couldn't remove the noise from the recoding beyond this.
