For our sixth release we welcome a young producer hailing from Bogota, Colombia. https://soundcloud.com/buraye has been working on his sound for almost a decade now and he’s the co-founder of the From The Void Above label, having released great records from the like of Muten, Eliaz and Do Or Die. His Transcendence EP will be released on Griffé in september 2021. The record consists of four high-energy dance-floor oriented tracks with acid, trancey and electro elements. Hybrid productions bringing both analogue and digital components to create a fractal and entheogen mood.

This release brings you moods influenced by the rich cultures of the Eastern World. The A1 by Paul Tellimerg is a special piece where deepness meets energy. For the A2 Locky’s track makes you groove with his signature percussion and unique basslines. Marco Donato, another legend of the game and part of the Italoboyz, presents you the B1! He provided us with a big driving tune surrounded by a mystic atmosphere. Concluding the VA as the B2, Shaque was inspired by his Bangladeshi roots when he hit the notes on the synths alongside Tjizza.

“Chocolate mines, waffles, and Trappist ale — that’s what we take pride in and our reason to live,” Needle's grandma used to say. She was born and raised in a southern province of Belgium. Two city kids obsessed with rhythm would come here to catch their breath after the chaos of urban life. The moment the train hissed in relief as it arrived, a guy and a girl jumped onto the platform, rolling their suitcases and making silly faces at each other.

— Now it’s just nature and no internet! We just need to drive the last leg.
— Yesss! We’ll admire castles and go on long walks. Maybe even find an old gramophone. Hee-hee!

People used to say that for Needle and Plate, it was enough just to be together. It didn’t really matter what they were into — the “Beat ’em up” showdown, long discussions, food, sleep, or hunting for hidden gems. That mutual glow made everything feel special.
