My Nana gave me my first ever piano lesson. I remember it like a video. in this song I used the speed finger/thumb cross over technique she showed me early on. I think of her "Every time" I do it 😊

The song itself was triggered by something Aileen said to me yesterday. I showed her a pic of my Nana for no other reason that she has the same name just a letter off... I was made to realize that I keep my Nana's pic and Grandads book of poetry beside me in the studio all the time. So they do actually shine down on me everyday. Before I showed it to Aileen I just did it... but she made me realize what it has actually meant and what it will continue to mean going forward..

Then those Girls and Boys grew up and had 23 children. My generation. And my generation has also had 23 children up to this point. All out there doing good thanks in large part to my Nana and Papa. Bliss 💕

Eyes So Lean

As a parent an emotion I sometimes experience is wishing I could take away the pain from my kids - be that mental health/ anxiety or physical.  I'm sure I am not alone and suspect this is something all parents (or anyone who loves somebody) experiences.
