Tinchtov is a Ljubljana based musician and DJ who's passion captures all underground electronic music. His music career started as a drummer in a hardcore-punk-crust band called Excreta. At that time in the early age of rave culture, his passion for music also leads him to the discovery of local underground clubbing culture. He fell for it instantly, as the Slovenian electronic scene was really strong and its punk and DIY legacy pushed him, to dig deeper and find out more about this techno magic uprising. The music and the atmosphere at the parties were so newfangled as liberating, that he became obsessed about learning how everything is done. So out of that, he decided to build up his own record collection of the kind of music he was impressed with and heard around the scene and started DJ-ing. Nowdays he spends most of his time digging music and playing around in the local clubs and events. To top that, he also started producing and making his own beats. His main style is a broad variety of uncompromising raw sounding techno, electro, EBM, acid and all kinds of stuff on the funkier or darker side.

Here is the latest in my Hot Track Time Machine series, a mix series where I go back through my collection and pick out some of my favourite tracks from a certain genre/style/vibe. This time I've selected some of my favourite banging, funky, party techno tunes that I played a lot back in the day, and were regularly played by the likes of Carl Cox, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Billy Nasty, Slam, etc. This is definitely the most fun and funky techno can get, and these tracks hold a special place in my heart as many of them bring back memories of certain gigs I've played or attended. Hot Track Time Machine Volume 5 (Funky/Loopy Party Techno Bangers)

Suspended is born during the pandemic in Berlin. Techno and a dusty basement brought us together as friends and as a collective. 

We look to cultivate an inclusive environment through art and sound - a (first of all) digital space to promote artists of different media, to set up new topics, build awareness and inspire. 

What exactly is relevant for followers of our subculture? How do artists find inspiration? And what is required to make positive and safe experiences on the dance floor?

Central to the collective’s goals is the promotion of artists of different mediums who look to share their passion. This means we’re open for art direction during collaborations and encourage artists to share their visions. Our expectation isn’t that all projects are related to us, fact quite the opposite. We wish to be a conduit, not the focus.
