Resident of the wild Berlin parties Stimulation, the Human Experiments project was born from the will to share a radical vision of techno and the meeting of two inspirations, industrial cinematic and hypnotic groove. He creates a dark, violent yet catchy universe in which dissonant sounds meet pounding rhythms. His music is both danceable and deeply gloomy, blurring the boundaries between genres. By building an atmosphere in which rhythmic hammering and hypnotic envelopes form one, he strives to generate a strange synergy that is uniquely his.

Currently based in Berlin, he tends to refine his style by taking inspiration from the more minimalist aspects of techno. It is under his other alias 'Arc:type' that he intends to fully express this other musical vision, even if the borders between the two projects are thin.

With a shared passion for the harder spectrum of underground electronic music, @astwo, a young Ljubljana-based producer & DJ duo began their collaboration already back in 2017. While clubbing to different music genres, Marek discovered his connection to techno and music in general. After organizing a few open-air and club events, he started DJing in 2020.
He and friends nowadays organize the releases, events and podcast series of Oxytocin Berlin, where he also is a resident.
Inspired by the music acts he is mostly drawn to, the style mainly consists of driving hard techno, although you can find trancy and dreamy tracks in the mixes as well. It is important for him that there is always action in mixes, so he doesn't spare time and offers many, mostly short-timed transitions.
He started producing a while ago and is now releasing tracks under the synonym „Ultraflash“ with his good friend Patrick. He also is planning to release tracks on his own very soon.

This week on the Ismcast we have LACCHESI.

The Paris based Frenchman has been kind enough to supply this weeks mix for our ismcast series. Lacchesi, co-founder of Maison Close, has been on the rise for some time now releasing music regularly on his own imprint as well as remixing for great artists such as Darzack. He has also dropped tracks which he has worked on alongside artists such as ABSL, Francois X and Mac Declos to name just a few.

The mix is just over an hour of bouncy, abstract techno displaying quite a unique sound which we absolutely love.

Suspended is born during the pandemic in Berlin. Techno and a dusty basement brought us together as friends and as a collective. 

We look to cultivate an inclusive environment through art and sound - a (first of all) digital space to promote artists of different media, to set up new topics, build awareness and inspire. 

What exactly is relevant for followers of our subculture? How do artists find inspiration? And what is required to make positive and safe experiences on the dance floor?

Central to the collective’s goals is the promotion of artists of different mediums who look to share their passion. This means we’re open for art direction during collaborations and encourage artists to share their visions. Our expectation isn’t that all projects are related to us, fact quite the opposite. We wish to be a conduit, not the focus.
